    I work full time so find it difficult to book an appointment during weekdays. I am glad that Dronfield Medical Practice runs a Hub phlebotomy service at the weekends so that I don't have to take time off work for it. I saw Health Care Assistant last Saturday for my blood test. She was very pleasant and efficient at her job.

    Today (2.1.24) is no doubt one of the busiest days for a Medical practice. I requested a telephone appointment and was called back by a lovely Dr less than 30 mins later. So professional whilst still being approachable and friendly. Not just today but throughout being registered at the practice all the members of my family have had amazing service. Especially though Covid and when my two children were small. Well done Dronfield Medical - much appreciated!

    I rang the surgery on 27th December, 2023 fully expecting to have a lengthy wait. However, the phone was answered in 3 or 4 minutes and within 30 minutes a very helpful and pleasant doctor rang back and issued a prescription. I found this quite incredible service on what must have been one of the busiest days of the year for the Surgery. Thank you all at Dronfield Medical Practise.

    Having moved to Dronfield in the past 6 months we feel compelled to say how pleased we are with Dronfield Medical Centre, they are a paragon of best practice, efficient, timely and kind care has been our experience of them. I can't tell you how fortunate we feel to have found ourselves here and how lucky the people of Dronfield are in this respect. Well done to the whole team who must work extremely hard to keep up this ethos in these most difficult times.

It is very easy to get disheartened by the negativity surrounding General Practice, and there is no doubt that the situation is increasingly challenging for patients and staff within the NHS.     Yet again dealing with a certain staff member of the reception team we were talked to rudely and abruptly. Once you could maybe put it down to them having a bad day, but unfortunately it’s every time this staff member on the reception desk. It’s a shame that this staff member lets the side down to a otherwise excellent and pleasant experience when visiting my GP.

We would always encourage patients to contact us directly with issues as we are able to investigate in detail and put in place individualised staff training and performance management as necessary.
