Review titled Ok if Staff like you -not happy with honest comments
Rated 1 star out of 5
by Anonymous - Posted on 23 November 2022
Great if you do not need to see a GP quickly. Conversations on the phone can be heard while waiting in reception. Dark entrance at the back, no lights outside. Cold waiting area. Appointments are rushed, can’t discuss fully my concerns, not happy that I write down before I visit feel you are just a number.

Review titled Poor Service
Rated 1 star out of 5

Poor management and tick box service. No flexibility or care if you are less able . Reception staff cannot make any decisions- always have to call back or wait on an answer. Even when you ask to speak to a manager they can never come to the phone. Website does not display complaints procedure or clinics and times. If you call on Friday you have to go to the Urgent Care Centre or A&E no same day appointments or after 6pm during the week with a Doctor.

Dear Anonymous Patient, If you could kindly contact us directly with your concerns, we will be able to investigate for you. Our new website displays all of the relevant information including information about our enhanced access evening service with appointments until 8pm. We would never want a patient to wait to seek medical attention over the weekend and therefore patients may be guided to an urgent care centre or A&E as appropriate. City Road Medical Centre

Review titled Not helpful if you cant use computers or speak english well
Rated 1 star out of 5
by English second language - Posted on 10 June 2022
Very inpatient and unfriendly if you cannot email your paperwork or complete online they give you no option. They will not accept paper copies- must email it. Not all patients in this area have access to computers or have data on their phone. Very quick to direct you to urgent care centre when you request an appointment with the GP the same week. Never speak to the same doctor twice. No flexibility in the times if you work. No after 7 pm appointments like before. Receptionist decide if letter given by the hospital should be booked with Dr. to discuss- not allowed to request an appointment . 'Doctor will get a copy and call you if she thinks it is required'. If you change address and have no official proof they will not change so you miss your hospital appointment letters.

Dear Anonymous Patient, We have streamlined our online systems to improve access to patients. Should a patient not have access to a computer or the Internet, our staff members can assist them to complete forms at the practice face to face. We have regular clinicians who are available for continuity of care, however should there be no available appropriate appointments you may be directed to another appropriate service to meet your health needs. We have appointments until 8pm every Tuesday, please see out website for more information. If you require any more information please feel free to contact us directly. City Road Medical Centre
