Sent to Practice for a Covid Booster, checked parking arrangements online, stated free parking. Arrived and parked using blue badge and joined long queue to get in. After about 10mins queuing noticed sign stating need to enter car reg details. Getting someone in queue to save my place I went in and did this. Eventually had Jab and left. 3 days later received letter from Parkingeye demanding £100 fee for illegal parking with no details of why. Sign in Car Park states 1hr maximum parking, I was out in 50mins (from CCTV) and need to enter car reg which I did. Health Center staff refused to help stating I was not a patient leaving me 0 to deal with Parkingeye alone. Appealed which was refused but they offered as a goodwill gesture to reduce fee to £20. I regret to say I paid this to get rid of the hassel. I reiterate, beware off visiting this Practice, l will decline any future appointments ther.

Dear Mr Lloyd, Thank you for taking the time to share this feedback regarding the practice. Please accept my sincere apologies for any stress and inconvenience this has caused you. Chingford Medical Practice is located inside Chingford Health Centre. E4 Primary Care Network runs an enhanced access service for patients registered at 5 local practices from Chingford Medical Practice’s premises. This was the service that provided COVID vaccinations from September to December. Parking Eye is an external company used by Chingford Health Centre to ensure only patients and staff are using the free parking facilities available. If patients receive a fine, our receptionists are able to give them a letter to contact Parking Eye to prove they had an appointment or are a patient. On this occasion you may have spoken to Chingford Health Centre staff who were not aware of this. Again, please accept my apologies for this. I would be most grateful if you could contact me via email with the details of the parking fine to nelondonicb.chingfordmedicalpractice@nhs.net so I can look to resolve this issue with Parking Eye and find out who it was that you spoke to at Chingford Health Centre regarding the fine. I moved to Chingford, 5 months ago & registered with Chingford Medical Practice as soon as I could, as I need regular medication (repeat prescriptions). I had several visits to the nurses, from COVID vaccines to other issues, as well as online forms to make life easier, but not phoning or going in person, and I got immediate responses. They really do listen, it does not matter what way you communicate ~ or what the issue is ~ you get a reply, always positive!

I requested an appointment for my elderly in-laws. Unfortunately I could not be with them and I requested that a few things be dealt with while they were with the doctor. They were treated wonderfully, with great respect and everything was explained to them in detail. A ‘lovely’ doctor saw them together. Such great treatment, prompt and professional- thank you !

I’ve been at various practices over the years and Chingford Medical Practice is the only one I can say has truely provided excellent care. The nurse who performed my smear was kind, caring and highly professional. The GP I recently saw was compassionate and proactive in providing help and took the time to follow up with me. The management of my prescriptions has been timely and seamless. The reception team have been helpful and courteous both in person and on the phone. Their appointment system even seems to work pretty well. A big well done to the whole team
