  1. Review titled Appointment system is a shambles

Rated 1 star out of 5

Appointments are released twice a day and getting one is like getting Glastonbury tickets - near on impossible. I’ve had results from my midwife that I need antibiotics urgently and I’m told to use push doctor - no appointments and then told to try again later. The only way I seem to get anywhere is to demand to talk to a manager and then some accommodation is made. Last week my son needed his asthma pump replacing and called at 8.02 for all appointments to be gone but was told someone would call me later that morning. 11am I called to say when I might expect that call to be told the doctors hadn’t shown up that day so no one would call and could I just go to a&e… something I would have done at 8am if I had known!! The doctors are brilliant when you do see them and I can’t fault them for this, but the appointment management system needs some sorting as otherwise it’s just unnecessary additional pressure on our local a&e services.

  3. Review titled Terrible practice

Rated 1 star out of 5

Awful GP, I was pregnant and concerned about bleeding, I didn’t receive a call back when I asked for one, just didn’t seem any urgency and kept calling, then to be told to call back later etc. I went to EPU myself and they got me in for an appt as they were concerned about my bleeding and outcome was sadly a miscarriage. Felt this GP handled it badly and didn’t provide the support they should, made me feel like I was over reacting.

After failing to get an e consultation I phoned the practice, the receptionist spoke to the doctor and sorted out a prescription, this was much appreciated
