I’ve been attending Bodmin Road for the last 9 years and have always been highly satisfied. Even throughout the pandemic we have always been seen. We are given the option of the most convenient way - by email, phone or in person. My daughter has required a lot of appointments and they have always been prompt and efficient. The surgery is fantastic.

The AskMyGP service hours are stated as from 8am to 4pm yet quite often the service is closed sometimes as early as 9:30 -10am. This necessitates waiting till 8am the next day. My view is that this service allows the practice to claim that 100% of users get some sort of appointment on the same day. There should be provision now for patients to make in person bookings at reception now covid restrictions have eased. Often when you go in when lucky enough to get an appointment the waiting room. Is more or less empty and you still have to wait. There needs to be a review of this awful off-putting system and a return to pre-pandemic services.
