    I recently had a telephone appointment to discuss a hospital appointment that she had booked for me. The telephone discussion was very thorough and explained what medication was required. I also discussed a couple of other issues I had, the doctor again was very helpful.

    Seen quickly, even early by doctor. Given excellent advice. Booked in by doctor to relevant hospitals for ongoing treatment. Only one downside was length of time taken to answer when ringing surgery.

    After 45 minutes on hold (having been cut off three times whilst listening to the extraordinarily long prerecorded message only to be told they were exceptionally busy … why can’t you lead with that?) was unable to get a local appointment with a nurse or a doctor even though my wife has recently had an operation and this request for an appointment was as a result of complications arising from this. Although we live a ten minute walk from our own surgery and a five minute drive from a further two in the practice, was offered an appointment 10 miles away (and this has been the case for the last three times an appointment was attempted including the day after surgery when the hospital requested this and driving was impossible). The receptionist was helpful and apologetic (as they always are) the doctors (when you get to see them) are fantastic … the organisation itself is poor.

    I submitted an e-consult in the morning on 28th April regarding an ongoing problem. Due to it being a Bank Holiday I did not expect a response until Tuesday 2nd May. I actually had a telephone call later that same afternoon. A new prescription was sent to the pharmacy and I was given instructions of what I needed to do once the medication had taken affect. Personally I have had only good and quick response to e-consult submissions.

    The gps Are lovely however the whole process to get to a doctor or even talk to a doctor is ridiculous ( the receptionist ‘s are not gps but seem to have the authority as to what goes in even when my gp has asked me to call up to talk to her

    I saw the gp and she was really nice and helpful l felt the gp explained everything to me that I wanted to know.the reception area was nice and clean very easy to book in so a really good visit.

    Requested a nurse visit at home. Visited next day,plus a follow up call from GP. I tend not to sit on the phone waiting but use econsult or attend surgery and speak with reception.

    Because I have an ongoing problem with my ear- possibly sinus related I felt I needed to speak to a GP. I was last seen by a Nurse about this matter about a month previous and although helpful and knowledgeable the situation with the ear is the same. I knew that I would be Triaged away from a GP so decided to consult a GP through Benenden which I did successfully on 24/4. She then sent my prescription to Beacon Medical Group that day. My normal prescriptions are sent to Boots. On 28/4 I rang the surgery and spoke to a helpful Receptionist who I heard say that Prescription was there and dated 24/4. She then advised me that it had been passed to my GP that day but she was not on duty!! She arranged for a duty GP to look at it and he sent me a text stating that he has prescribed one of the two items but I can buy the other one over the counter. A bit unfair when you are a Pensionner but so be it. Anyway it is now 4/5 and I still have not been advised prescription ready for collection !! Don’t know what to say really !!
