I saw the doctor in February, and was told that a request to see a podiatrist would be Sent, as I have not received any information about an appointment, I asked at the end of March if it had been Sent,I was informed it was sent off on 14/03/2024, it took over a month for the request to even be Sent.

  2. Review titled Incorrect procedures

Rated 1 star out of 5

by Anonymous - Posted on 06 June 2023

Had blood test but they used a hospital request rather than their own. Then when I went to get another one they refused. Had to go to hospital and get blood test on day of appointment and specialist had nothing to go on. They should never have used hospital request and their policies and procedures are pathetic. Waste of time. Will use other services from now on

  4. Review titled Disgusting staff!

Rated 1 star out of 5

by Kerrianne Robson - Posted on 20 December 2022

Rude staff. Can never get an appointment. My 6year old daughter covered in a rash, high temp, sore throat. Called 111. She needs to be seen within 24 hour and they couldn't provide that and staff were very rude. Cant travel but told me to travel to seek help. Absolutely useless. Can never get an appointment for an adult and now I'm disgusted as I can't get one for a child either.

  5. Review titled Extremely rude staff

Rated 1 star out of 5

by Anonymous - Posted on 25 November 2022

My son had an appointment today. I arrived 4 minutes early and attempted to log in to the machine which didn’t work. I then got in the queue and waited patiently with my 2 year old. After about 10 minutes of waiting (and nobody coming to reception to call our turn) I told the receptionist who looked at the time and told me I was late and had missed my appointment! I explained the time I logged in and that I was early and had been waiting! The nurse came out clearly furious she had to do the appointment (was his flu spray) and told me she had “already logged out”. I apologised even though I wasn’t in the wrong. She was moody and it was really unprofessional and unpleasant. I will try to change surgeries if I can.

Can never get an appointment, rude staff on the phone whenever you get through Have turned up at door at 0800 hours and told no appointments although the next person through the door got one straight away. When the doors were opened at 0815 the lady said for gods sake as I was there waiting A very unpleasant experience

  7. Review titled Very good practice

Rated 4 stars out of 5

by Anonymous - Posted on 20 September 2022

I have been with this practice for 30 years and they have always served me well. In spite of staffing difficulties which affect all practices now, they are helpful, patient, tolerant. I always get a good result even it takes a bit longer than I or they would like. If urgent they will end over backwards to help.

  8. Review titled The worst gp surgery!

Rated 1 star out of 5

by Anonymous - Posted on 20 September 2022

Can't get an appointment. They don't answer their phones but tell you you're the first in the queue. When you finally connect, Receptionists hang up on you if they don't like it when you press them for an appointment. This is the worst surgery I have ever encountered in the past 45 years.

  9. Review titled Difficult to get an appointment

Rated 1 star out of 5

by Anonymous - Posted on 01 August 2022

It's really hard to get an appointment, even a telephone appointment. Many times, reception don't answer the phone and the call cuts off after several minutes, despite saying I'm first in the queue every time. In March I was told by the GP to arrange a follow-up appointment for a few weeks' time, but was told they don't book appointments that far ahead, so I phoned nearer the time only to be told they were fully booked for the whole of April and I had to phone back in May. I ran out of medication because I wasn't able to book an appointment to have a repeat prescription set up, and when I finally got through I was only able to book a phone appt for 2 weeks later - still without required medication. When asked, the receptionist said the best time to phone was 3pm, and I asked about the online booking system but was told I couldn't register for that due to Covid-19. When you do get hold of a receptionist, some are helpful, but others are rather rude. The GP's and nurses are usually fairly good, but the difficulty getting them to answer the phone, and an inability to book an appointment within a month, even an emergency appt for a child, is very worrying.

  10. Review titled Terrible time and time again

Rated 1 star out of 5

by Anonymous - Posted on 22 June 2022

Have always found it hard to get appointments but recently they have a 3/4 week wait, even for phone consults. Everything else is basically e-consult and often the dr doesn’t call but then asks you to make an urgent appointment (in 3/4 weeks) without providing any care or a drs note. When you do speak to them I’ve had several occasions with doctors being condescending about my ability to manage my long term condition, either surprised I manage as well as I do or suggesting I should just get on with it better. On occasion when I haven’t been able to even get a dr to call me back despite asking for a same day appt I’ve ended up having to use 111 and urgent care. Receptionists are rude, don’t listen to your concerns and don’t call back when you’ve asked them to check with a dr. I simply can’t recommend this practice as it’s obviously not staffed adequately (I know the whole nhs is struggling but this seems particularly bad) and the staff that are there aren’t empathetic to their patients.
