I have had at least 5 plus different GP surgeries in the past, I just wanted to say I am super impressed with the service and care I get here, not "just from the GP" but also staff, I visited this morning (17/04/2024) and was sitting in the waiting area, after signing in at the machine, the receptionist, literally called me out by my name to say hi and ask how I am. I felt very special, this was at 9 am (17/04/2024) and she was super busy, she also said goodbye to another gentleman. I was also greeted by another staff who was walking past, he is super impressive and always says hi for a few seconds. I love the ease of contacting via forms, I know the doctor was very busy today but within minutes of filling out the form, she saw me face to face at 9 30 am. I wish all the other surgeries would follow this surgery examples. I remember in the past other GP's its impossible to get an appointment, you call sharp at 8 30 and keep getting busy signal, to be let down after they pick up and say all same day appointments are gone and go to walk in centre orA & E, all of them are not disabled friendly, not easyto walk inwhen they open and stand at window, they always sound like a parrot, but I have never ever had any issues here since 2018with this surgery, Patients App is brilliant for most needs, I never have to call and wait on hold, I can easily submit my blood pressure readings online. Super easy to get treatment and I get heard, it never a one way conversation with a doctor and I never get brushed off because other patients are waiting. I get an amazing care and treatment here. I asked to been seen by a doctor due to my epilepsy and was given an appointment for end of the month like 20 days away poor service staff on reception have bad attitude

Best gp practice fantastic Doctors, nurses and reception staff. I am no longer a patient at this practice as moved out of the area, but wish I could have stayed with them, still work in the vicinity though, I always recommend this practice to my clients within my job role. As I know they are in safe hands go above and beyond, do not rush your appointment and really listen to your concerns and involve you in decision making. When needed will do home visits even though very busy. Very good also with the homeless I cannot recommend urban village practice enough, every Doctor here are compassionate and really do care about their patients.

Always been able to contact a GP for any issues I have had regarding physical and mental health staff are second to none when it comes to patient services always professional and extremely supportive and empathetic.

I have been a member of this practice for about 15 years and have always received the best care possible. I was diagnosed with breast cancer in January and have undergone surgical treatment for this. Thankfully l was told in May that l am cancer free and didn’t need chemo or radiotherapy. Despite being overjoyed that l was cancer free l was left with complications from the surgery and am still having weekly treatment for this. During the past 7 months l have experienced a range of emotions from being scared to death, anxious and relieved in equal measures. Throughout this time all the staff at Urban Village Medical Practice have played a part in helping me cope and working together to get me fit & healthy. The friendly receptionists and other admin team have always been so helpful and made sure that any queries have been responded to in a timely manner and l have received a phone call or appointment if needed. I have received excellent care from the pharmacist, practice nurses & GP’s who have not only been there to care for my medical issues but also provided much needed reassurance and advice on my mental health, which had really suffered during this time. I am so thankful that myself & my family are registered with such a lovely, caring, professional GP practice that has always put its patients at the heart of everything it does and provides excellent care despite the many challenges that all NHS services are experiencing at the moment.

I have been a patient with uvmp for 20 years and have nothing but praise for them. The doctors & nurses are professional and caring and will help you with any health problem. All staff are caring, warm and compassionate. They will fit you in on the same day or offer you a same day telephone call. They have an online system which works well for explaining your problems and what you need. my gp is the most amazing one there. She has supported me since I have been a patient and is so caring, understanding and genuine. She always listens to me and goes the extra mile. I am grateful to have such a fantastic gp and access such a brilliant medical practice. The care is outstanding and they help so many people including homelessness, substance misuse and mental health. If they read this. Thank you :)

I contacted the practice this morning with a problem that was causing me to be very anxious, the person I spoke to was really helpful and made me feel better. They arranged for me to see a doctor this morning and I am reassured about my problem Thank you for everything you do

very impressed with the practice. Submited an online form requesting emergency contraception. Was called the same day by a very knowledgeable doctor and received my prescription straight away. Then booked in for an appointment later in the week for a long term solution. All options were discussed fully and with kindness. Urban Village have a great team from the reception to the doctors and nurses. Thank you
