The team at this practice from reception staff to doctors are excellent. An asset to the community and doctor takes time and care in attending to my needs as a patient.

Very helpful. Go above and beyond to help and ensure the correct treatment is received. Very friendly staff all round too.

I had rang numerous times to try and get an urgent prescription approved on the Friday before the Bank Holiday. I was cut off, prescription confusion with regular medication and then told they did not know when it would be ready. I had almost given up when I rang again at 5pm. The lady I then spoke to could not have been more helpful, despite how late it was she went out of her way to get my prescription approved and even rang me back to let me know it had been done and sent to a chemist I could collect from that evening. Can not praise her enough, just wish other staff were as helpful.

Been trying to call doctor for past few days, on hold for 20 minutes but when the reception picks up telephone she disconnects. Happens many times. Tried to complain to doctors but no email address to complain

i tried to call for the same day appointment but the landline number was dead in the morning and i couldn't book the appointment I rang again later that day and tried to book an appointment for a later date and they said i cannot do it because they only do same day appointments and i cannot book future appointments i was then told to fill a form if i want to be seen but the form can only be filled in between 8 am - 2 pm Monday to Friday. !!!!!!!!!!!! i work night shifts so you would understand the challenge. Requesting the surgery to please work on this and try to make the process easy. Thank you!

I’ve been visiting this practice for over a year now and have always been treated with respect and care. All the doctors and nurses have been attentive and patient with their care. I feel very fortunate to have access to this practice.

The staff at Ailsa Craig Medical are brilliant including the admin staff. They have helped me and my family tremendously. The doctors at the practice have a genuine care for patients and I feel as though I have an kind and warming relationship with my doctor. I would highly recommend this GP and continue to express my love for the doctors at the practice.

I called to make an appointment and was told that if I made my way I could be seen, the GP waited for me, she was lovely as usual and reassured me regarding my health issue.

Never join this practice and never recommend to anyone, I have a disabled child who needed to see a GP urgently so called and explained everything to the reception staff and was told I will get a call back. 45 mins later I received a text telling me to book a routine appointment, so called back and told the reception staff that my child has a disability and needs to either see a GP or the GP needs to call me so I can explain everything. I was then told by the reception staff either go to a&e or find some where else, so then I asked to speak to the manager but then was told I can’t as I don’t have a valid reason to talk to the manager and then the staff hung up on me. I then called back again and without saying a word was again hung up and this happened 6 times. On the 7th time I finally got round to speak to someone and guess what it was the manager so I explained everything again and then the manager tells me that if I don’t like the service they provide then I should put a formal complaint in writing and leave the practice and go somewhere else as it’s not there problem if the GP does not want to speak and if my child has a disability then I should see a disability specialist which they don’t know where the disability specialist is and how I could get one for my child.

Great service now and also during Covid - used ask the receptionist a question today on website marked non urgent had a call back within the hour, amazing staff and service, great surgery!
