I was lucky enough to get on the list of this practice many years ago when it first opened and am so grateful still, given the difficulty people have finding an NHS dentist. The practice is excellent, both dentists, hygienists and administrative staff. You are always sent timely reminders of treatment dates and kept up to date with things. Would recommend highly to anyone.

I have been part of this practice for several years, working with 2 different dentists who have both given highly skilled care and been excellent at communicating about and planning treatments.

My dentist as I class him always makes me feel at ease and explains everything he has so much patience especially as I am quite a nervous person I couldn’t recommend him enough many many thanks

Dentist saw me around 45 minutes after scheduled start time. I didn't receive any updates while I was waiting, and staff were disinclined to investigate after I alerted them to how long I'd been waiting; Receptionist rude, dismissive, and failed to offer me a breakdown of why I was being asked to pay the amount I was in person (I was recommended two follow up sessions). Follow-up calls don't work since receptionist picks up, asks me to wait, puts me on hold, them puts the phone down. This has happened now three time within 24 hours of the appointment. Dentist seemed young, inexperienced, offering advice which I think was more to try and extract money from me, than offer balanced, professional advice. Will be moving to a new dentist. Very disappointing.

This whole experience has been positive, from ease of booking appointment, warm and friendly greeting on arrival/check in and the relaxed but professional approach of the dentist. I would highly recommend using this fantastic service.

Who doesn't hate going to the dentist, but the team at Temple Street are always so kind and professional - it's almost a pleasure to visit. Their work is excellent and I'm happy to recommend them

Having lost a piece of a tooth that had already been repaired extensively, my dentist advised that I should have a crown fitted. I was given two appointments - one to prepare and fit a temporary crown and the second for fitting the crown. The appointments took place as planned (hardly any wait time), the treatment was conducted with care and concern and I was provided with a full explanation of the recommended treatment and at all points during the treatment the dentist checked that I was not in any discomfort. After care was clearly explained and I was invited to return if I had any concerns. I am extremely happy with the service I received.

I recently received first rate treatment from the Temple Street Dental Surgery. After suffering pain from gum infections under loose teeth for a couple of months, I realised the situation was not going to improve, and called into the surgery. I was given an emergency appointment for later the same day. I discussed the options with the dentist, and we decided that I should see the hygienist to see if she could deal with the infection. She gave it a really good try, but to no avail, and after a week I went back to the surgery and was given another appointment, again on the same day. We agreed that the two molars should be extracted, and I was given an appointment for the next day. On attending this appointment the dentist fully explained the procedure, while the anaesthetic was taking effect, and then removed the teeth. This procedure was carried out skilfully and quickly, and with minimal discomfort, following which I was given detailed instructions on aftercare. And it was all done on the NHS, which I was very grateful for. The gums are now healing up nicely, and it’s a great relief to be pain free. So, many thanks to all at the Temple Street Dental Surgery, including the friendly and helpful receptionists, for their speedy and effective treatment.
