Had a tooth extraction. No NHS so had to pay private. From an estimate of £200 -£300, then £350 then had to pay a further £100 after treatment . They need proper pricing levels so patients are aware of costs.

Rang at 9 a.m Monday to cancel a late p.m appointment for an 83 year old who had been admitted to hospital, wanted to rearrange. Lost the £49 booking fee as was “on the day” Considering I was told at point of booking they were “very busy” and have a waiting list I’m sure there will be no problem filling the time slot! Was asked for another £49 to make a second appointment. Will wait until discharged to do so. Moral of the story make sure if you are ill, you get admitted in the week when there is the facility to cancel not over the weekend when they are closed.

I have been going here for over 20 years and have always had excellent service. All the staff are extremely friendly and professional nothing is to much trouble.

Booked a check up in May, which was cancelled. Ringing in early June to reschedule to be told to phone in Aug, Ifphoned in Aug to be told to phone again in late September as you are not doing check up appointments at this time. Although should I wish to go private I would be seen at my convenience. If it goes on for over 12 months will I be taken of the NHS list which would be unfair as it seems impossible to book an appointment at this time.

Always a friendly greeting and chat with the ladies on reception. My experience with the dentist was as always, really good. He took me through everything he intended to do and put me at ease from the off.

Always friendly and efficient, and in a convenient city centre location. All the family go there and we’ve seen the same dentist the last few times. He takes time to have a chat and find out about any problems, offering advice and solutions as appropriate. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend him.
