  1. Review titled Appointment For Check Up

Rated 1 star out of 5

by Shahid - Posted on 16 May 2023

I have been trying to make an appointment for a regular checkup for 6 months only to be told that my dentist is on Mat leave and they don't have any ETA on her return. I will have to wait till i hear back from them. I pay for my checkup and treatment and don't claim any benefits but to not be able to get an appointment for a regular up check is very unsatisfactory. What is the use of being registered to your practise if i can't get an appointment even? I find it hard to believe that for 6 months you haven't had any slots to see a patient registered at your practise.

Dear Patient, We are sorry to hear that you are unhappy with the time it takes to get an appointment at our practice. I would like to apologise for any inconvenience this may have caused you. Unfortunately, appointments are in extremely high demand at the moment and our dentist’s diaries are fully booked. Please be assured we are working hard to increase our appointment availability and see our patients as soon as possible. Kind Regards Julie Wood - {my}dentist Patient Services Team Leader

  3. Review titled Kicked off

Rated 1 star out of 5

by Anonymous - Posted on 28 March 2023

They've kicked me off their practice as I haven't been for 2 years. Fair enough but I've been trying to get an appointment throughout the pandemic and was told I would be put on a waiting list. They haven't written or otherwise contacted me since! So I've been kicked off the list for not having an appointment I haven't been able to get! Every time I ring I am told it's been passed to the practice manager, who hasn't phoned me back

Dear Patient, We are sorry to hear that you are unhappy with our practice. Due to our current NHS appointment available we are unfortunately not able to offer appointments to everyone who contacts the practice, and this can include patients who have previously attended. We are only able to offer appointments subject to capacity. Regarding the call from the practice manager I am unable to comment as you have not provided your details, if you wish to discuss this with our Patient Support Team please contact them on patientsupport@mydentist.co.uk. Kind regards Julie Wood - {my}dentist Patient Services Team Leader
