Staff r horrible receptionist think they r doctors argue with u then have cheek to tell you not to speak in a tone with them! Doctors tell u they can only see u for one thing prescribe u medication then don’t actual give you it! Never the same doctors there! It’s like trying to see got to get an appointment! Being told you have an infect over phone but they need to see u first to be told but u will have to go a n e or walk in to get seen to after waiting all day for a phone call off them! Am always ending up in hospital because they miss diagnose you or won’t even see you! Never having an emergency appointments. Being told they have no appointments then ring 111 n they get u an appointment straight away with them! Certain individual staff one in particular called with a bun in her her constantly shout at u n then makes out ur the one speaking to her in a horrible manner! Being refused ur repeat prescriptions then having receptionist asking wot u need them for it’s none of their business! Place needs shutting down!!

  3. Review titled Impossible to book an appointment - they don't care.

Rated 1 star out of 5

by Luigi - Posted on 03 July 2023

I made contact with the practice on the 14th, 15th, and 16th of June via telephone, and on each occasion, I was informed that no appointments were available and that the only way to book was through Patches on the website. However, whenever I attempted to book through Patches, around 6 a.m., the system was closed, and no online appointments were accessible. Consequently, I ended up at the A&E department, where they discovered that the pain in my leg was, in fact, a case of deep vein thrombosis (DVT). The most recent incident occurred this morning, 03/07/2023, when I logged onto the website at 6 a.m., only to find that all slots were already closed and no appointments were available. I then called their phone number at 8:30 a.m., and after 19 unsuccessful attempts and a 28-minute wait, my call was eventually answered. I was informed that no appointments were available. When I inquired about the complaint procedure, I was told that it had to be done in writing and submitted at the main reception, which I find completely unacceptable in 2023. I am currently on crutches, making it extremely difficult for me to physically visit the location to submit a complaint.

  4. Review titled Absolutely Shocking

Rated 1 star out of 5

Despite the amount of staff listed on the website there never seems to be anyone answering calls and never any available same day appts. The information states that the practice is open from 0700 hours - I'd like to know when and how you access this. Totally unsuitable for working patients - if you are a shift worker it would be impossible to even contact the practice. I have tried numerous times to make contact to discuss a concern of mine and have had no success. I have tried to use the e-consult facility but I can't even find how to access this on the website. When I tried to contact the surgery to ask how to access this service the call went unanswered. I dread to think how many patients with significant health concerns are self medicating due to the failing of this practice - shambolic !!!!!!!

  5. Review titled Good practice

Rated 5 stars out of 5

I have been a patient of this surgery for over 30 years and have nothing but praise for the care that I receive. The receptionist are helpful ,polite and professional . The doctors are so dedicated and go over and aboard to look after their patients. It's not perfect , where is ? But I feel they are delivering a great service at this changing time in the NHS

  6. Review titled Worst practice

Rated 1 star out of 5

Rang to try to book an appointment for my husband, told no appointments left. Asked to make one for the next week told “We don’t make appointments in advance” in my innocence I asked why “in case one of the Drs goes off sick”???? Pathetic. They tell you to ring on the day, the likelihood is you ring from 8am to 8.30ish to be told all appointments have gone. The only way seems to be to get to the surgery in person before it opens and then be told theDr will ring you. Great if you are mobile enough to get there. Whole system needs a shake up.

  7. Review titled Terrible practice

Rated 1 star out of 5

    by Harley-Rose Smith - Posted on 21 November 2022

I have tired to get an emergency appointment as I am pregnant with genital pain and burning sensation I rung the gp to ask for an emergency appointment but they said they have no appointments and told me to fill out an e-consultation form so I did and when I entered my symptoms it told me to ring the gp and say I need an emergency appointment as it cannot safely continue with the form so I did and the receptionist told me there is no appointments again so it’s going back and forth when I am pregnant and need to be seen then she told me to get to the submit page on the form and she will get the gp to ring so I had to lie on the form just to get to the submit page the practice is terrible and I have never experienced anything like this before and especially since I am pregnant I need to be seen ASAP
