    After over eight months of waiting and too many instances of asking; the practice hasn't been able to complete a medical insurance form. Or even provide alternate options or suggestions. And while its clear GP's are under significant and continuing demand pressures post-Covid; just sitting and ignoring a patient request without offering timelines or alternatives isn't actually acceptable.

  2. Review titled phone queue 1 hour 13 mins to make appointment

    I am with Staines Health Group for more than 20 years now. However their system is now so bad, that it is literally unworkable: I received a message to make an appointment as I'm "due for multiple annual reviews" - I assume that would be my asthma and diabetes reviews. I had already seen multiple complaints on facebook that it is very difficult to reach Staines Health Group by phone. When I called, I initially was happy that there was an acknowledgement that they had experienced (past) issues, so I hoped I didn't have to wait long. I then got into the queue and was "number 13 in the call queue", so I was still somewhat optimistic: how long would it take for the 12 people in front of me to make their appointments... I was number 1 in the call queue after 1 hour 5 mins and then finally got to speak to someone after 1 hour and 13 mins. I find this totally unacceptable, and would request that the relevant NHS trust that has Staines Health Group in their remit, looks into this.

    I would just like to commend Staines Health Group as a practice, as a patient who has been with them for four years I get nothing but great care! In the height of the news that GP practices have been in, I am aware of the difficulties the NHS face at present (as I work in a hospital) and I think the care I have received has been outstanding for me and my family. From the positive and friendly attitude of receptionists to helpful GP’s I am so grateful. Human habit is quick to complain and hesitant to compliment but I would just like to say thank you! I appreciate the help of every one of you in trying to maintain the good health of local residents.
