I recently had my cataract surgery performed at Spa Medica and am delighted to share my exceptional experience. From the moment I walked in, I was warmly greeted by all the staff, including the surgeon. Their friendliness and professionalism immediately put me at ease.Throughout the entire process, I felt incredibly relaxed and well-cared for. The team's dedication to patient comfort and their reassuring demeanor made a significant difference. Every step was thoroughly explained, which helped alleviate any concerns I had.I would like to extend my heartfelt thanks to everyone at Spa Medica for their outstanding service and care. I would not hesitate to recommend them. 😊

From my 1st visit in April to my 2nd visit in May the service from this practice was above and beyond all of my expectations. Starting with the premises, absolutely first class in all departments regarding cleanliness in all area's.The staff, well I cannot find more better words to say than "absolutely fantastic" so helpful, polite, & caring, oh yes and super efficient too. Would I recommend this practice? absolutely yes 100+% and more. Thank you to you all for giving me such an easy passage through the procedures and putting a nervous person at ease. PS. The best machine coffee I have ever tasted

I have been twice to this clinic, once for the pre-op and once for the surgery. Throughout all of the staff were extremely professional and very friendly. Also they were very mindful that people were nervous. Couldn’t fault it at any level.

Everyone was very professional, while at the same time made me feel so relaxed , nothing was too much trouble, I have told everyone that there was nothing to be concerned about and would highly recommend the whole experience .

A bit anxious about the cataract operation, before hand . I was immediately reassured by SpaMedica as soon as I entered. Spotless room , greeted by efficient friendly receptionists. My daughter was allowed to follow me through the various stages, until the op itself. All the staff were so kindand friendly, but very efficient. There were no long waits, a short pause in proceedings was explained immediate by the nurse. The operation itself was amazingly quick and painless, carried out by a very pleasant doctor, who explained the procedure. Afterwards I felt so relieved it was all over. I said ‘I need a coffee’ - the nurse immediate got me one, before handing me over to my daughter again. I was discharged with very careful explanation of necessary self care for the administration of eye drops for next 2 weeks. I I was then handed them in a little bag, containing printed details of the information to read at my leisure when home and sterile swabs to bathe the eye first thing this morning. All in all 5star treatment.

In January 2024, Specsavers referred me to SpaMedica for a double cataract procedure. Within seven weeks, the lens of my left eye was successfully replaced. Eleven weeks later, the operation on the right eye was equally successful. I was fortunate to have the same surgeon on both occasions. He was excellent. I was impressed with the free minibus transport between my house and the clinic. The driver was excellent. The receptionists and nurses at the clinic were all friendly and efficient. Hygiene arrangements and patient safety throughout the clinic are impressive. To sum up, I feel that this clinic provides the quality of care that the NHS and SpaMedica can be very proud of. Congratulations!
