I was reassured by the efficiency, and friendliness of everyone involved in my cataract treatments. From the receptionists to the surgeon everyone made sure I understood the procedures and it was all done with smiles.

Having been referred for cataract surgery, I was very apprehensive. The whole process was excellent, the whole team are very professional, calm and each stage is fully explained. Information booklets are also well laid out. I would fully recommend this hospital. Have no worries about returning for the other eye.

I cannot praise this clinic enough, the staff, the customer service, and theatre staff and surgeon were lovely and very reassuring and no pain felt at all. The clinic is very clean , with coffee and biscuits on hand . I was in and out of theatre within ten mins and in and out of the clinic in an hour and half and on my way home, knowing if any problems I could call at any time. I can’t thank them enough . 😀

A wonderful hospital, everyone from the gentleman at the door and all the staff right up to the surgeon were friendly courteous and extremely helpful in making me feel at ease with my cataract operation. I would recommend this hospital to all. Thankyou very much.

When I arrived I was welcomed by a very pleasant and smiley member of staff. Environment was relaxing and all staff I encountered were very kind and thoughtful. The service was exemplary, efficient and very professional throughout the process. I was nervous but the staff helped me allay my fears. Thankyou.

I felt that I was in the hands of well-trained experts. Even the discomfort felt during surgery was clearly explained. In my case, the only minor flaw was the lack of lower back support whilst I was fully reclined, causing some pain.

From beginning to first eye being operated on although having some reservations regarding surgery everything went well and I received excellent treatment throughout. Second eye to be done so much more confident

I attended Spain Medical on the 19 January 2024 to have my first Cataract operation and on the 8 March for my second Cataract op. I cannot say enough about the Staff who work there. The atmosphere is amazing and it is due to them and the way they work together. I have never seen such friendliness among the staff from the cleaners to the surgeon. This is a genuine feeling amongst them and I was put at ease straight away by this feeling between them all. I think Spa Medica Newark UK would be a lovely place to work and I thank them all for there caring attitude towards myself and others.

I was referred to Spamedica for a Cataract operation. The waiting time was unexpectedly quick. The service was very good. I was extremely well cared for throughout.

I highly recommend Spa Medica in Newark to anyone thinking of cataract surgery. The staff and surgeons are first rate and nothing is too much trouble. Thank you for your care and attention.
