During a recent episode of mental illness I found the team, from reception to consultant excellent. I felt that I was heard and given appropriate treatment, care and support. I struggled to engage with services in the past. Giving the team a chance to help is essential. Forming a partnership with the team and engaging with their support has significantly improved my mental health. Have faith in them and the fact that they do care and want to help. It is not always easy to be patient when you are in distress and treatment can be difficult sometimes, but give them a chance to help. Things will get better.

Review titled Parking - I feel this should be available for service users

I appreciate that employees want easy parking when they go to work but I constantly see the same cars in the car park which means that service users have to find space on the random roads around the building. Appointments are generally stressful enough without having to worry about parking. There is very limited parking at the front of Northlands and I feel this should be available for service users and not used by staff. I have visited at various different times/days and the cars are the same. Due to Northlands being on a hill, it is also dangerous when you have to reverse out of the car park due to all the spaces being taken.
