Can’t praise Newmedica enough, very professional, very caring and very quick, had cataracts removed from both eyes in the space of just under 6 weeks, amazing place, amazing people

Was sent to this clinic via Optician, GP and NHS for high pressure in both my eyes. Everyone was very friendly, efficient and professional, all went very quickly and hardly any waiting. Had several tests with different staff and then saw the Opthalmic Consultant who I thought was excellent, for more tests and discussion of treatment Consider that we are very fortunate in this area to have the use of such a facility via NHS

All staff are very pleasant, caring and professional. I had a cataract removed from right eye on 3rd Sept 2023 and a cataract removed from left eye on 22nd Oct 2023. I can now see perfectly once again thanks to Newmedica.

Following removal of cataract from right eye in August 23, and being extremely pleased with all aspects of treatment, had cataract removed from left eye on 21.9.23. Again cannot fault any aspects of service.

I had lower eyelid surgery for my eyelid turning inwards. I was seen the same week I went for triage, had the surgery a couple of weeks after, recovered a in week. They put me at ease before and during surgery. Phoned the day after to check on me, then had a follow up 4 weeks after surgery. lovely place, free parking. Staff very friendly and happy to help. Brilliant.

Went to get my cataracts assessed, turns out they had a cancellation and could do the operation that day asked me if I would like the to have mine done, yes please was my answer. All the staff were brilliant , very friendly and very professional but also with a sense of humour, which to me, is a very important thing, helps to make you feel at ease. Nobody was patronising, which happens quite a lot in many places. Cannot thank them enough.

Well at the grand old age of 66 went for a Cataract surgery at Newmedica. From the entering of the practise everything and I mean every single thing, person,consultation, nurse,consultant,was so calm and professional I could not believe how calm they kept me so relaxed.The operation was painless, only taking 40 mins from start to finish.The doctors, nurses here are all geared to keeping you relaxed and I would recommend this clinic 110 percent.If you are nervous,as I was, don’t be, the staff are brilliant. Thank you all so much.
