As my previous experience, in 2018, the atmosphere was very calm, controlled and pleasant.I was offered coffee on arrival ! I am an NHS patient. I received excellent care ,as well as a compassionate, understanding kindness from both the receptionist on duty, and the Consultant. I wrote to the Consultant to thank him, and also asked him to thank the receptionist on duty, as she had noted ( on returning my revised medical details)that I had recently experienced the death of my husband. She made a special effort to offer her condolences. I will not forget her thoughtfulness.The Consultant exuded confidence ,was positive and cheerful and explained what would happen as well as answering all my questions with grace and patience. I would highly recommend this clinic , now having been there for three procedures during the last five years.

From start to finish I had exceptional service from all the staff, I was attended to on time and all my treatment was explained and I was given reasurance though out the procedures. Many Thanks

The personnel are the practice and they are all superb. From arrival and through all the testing, the attention given to the patient and the care is awesome. Everything is explained by the wonderful staff and as for being worried? No need because all is delivered with extreme care and courtesy. You are readily put at ease and looked after. As for the surgery what can i say? it was pain free and done with superb professionalism and minimum excitement. Post op tea and biscuits and a new look on the world Fantastic. if you are to have an eye op don't worry you are in very safe hands.. Thank you to everyone at Newmedica

Arrived nervous and very apprencive but the very friendly welcome from staff was great eased my nerves the surroundings in the waiting room are calming with free hot/cold drinks escorted by a friendly and polite member of staff to pre op room confirmed my details and started my anastatics 15mins later in the operating theatre and again a very calming experience from all staff involved after operation escorted to post op room give time to gather my thoughts and instructions for medication from walking into the clinic nervous and apprentive to walking out with a big happy smile and seeing the world better took 1hr45mins

My wife and I visited Newmedica in Leeds on the day the NHS celebrated its 75th birthday (we are both a little older than the NHS). Due to a significant deterioration in her eyesight causing anxiety my wife contacted Newmedica as a matter of urgency but we had to wait weeks to be seen (during the conversation that rejected our request for an early appointment there was a great deal of laughter in the background - not very professional). We attended our appointment 15 minutes early and our details were taken quite quickly by a person whose difficulty with spoken English was apparent and were told a doctor (by a name that did not exist) would see us soon. Despite asking when, we we were ignored for an hour and a half with no explanation for the long wait and anxiety that brought out all our insecurities. The doctor did appear thorough but told us abruptly that the medicated eyedrops that my wife has used for years were useless at best and possibly damaging. We will return in two months time but we are filled with trepidation at how we will be treated.

After left eye surgery,and no problems,just had my right eye done 11th June on a Sunday as well, just brill and no problems, just follow the instruction paper they give you and should be all ok,I am now have super sight and beautiful colours, super staff and all round service 10/10 from reception to surgeons and all staff brilliant all around agn mny thks to you all
