Brilliant. I was very apprehensive about the procedure, but this was needless. I was treated with respect throughout, and was well informed at every step,from the first set of eye drops to the discharge to go home. During the removal, a nurse was available to hold my hand. Everything that would happen was explained, and I was informed of any noises that I would hear. The whole process took less than 30 minutes, and was painless. When I was taken to the final room to have my aftercare explained, my husband was able to join me. We were offered tea or coffee and biscuits, and when I asked if they were gluten free the nurse produced a separate pack from the drawer. A good example of patient care. They followed all this with a phone call the next day, to check that I was okay and to let me know that I could phone them if I had any concerns.

Everyone was very caring, helpful and reassuring. Prompt service was received from the initial assessment right through to the surgery. Could not ask for better service.

Thank you Newmedica Ipswich. A visit to correct my eyesight by laser on 22/11/23 was carried out with minimum fuss and admin. The professional and friendly approach to my visit was second to none and I thank everyone concerned; and now, as I type this I can see clearly for the first time in a long time. Thanks again.

I arrived on time as was attended to promptly, the procedure was explained. I was finished in less than 90 minutes.

If you have any concerns about your cataract op at Newmedica, worry not. I am 70. I was quite anxious about the whole thing. However, they were highly professional, polite, friendly and efficient. From walking in the door to leaving an hour later I felt nothing more the eye drops, lots of eye drops. The op itself was somewhat sureal. The surgeon explained everything clearly in terms I understood. This include the strange sensation between cataract removal and new lens insertion. I felt nothing! I only had one eye done with advice it may take a couple of years before my other needs doing. I'll approach the next one with far less trepidation. Take my word, there's nothing to it. Don't worry

I can only heap praise on every single member of staff that I encountered on the day of my treatment. They treated me with kindness, humour and utter professionalism. I am 5 days post-op cataract removal and I can see so well now, I am back driving and life is so much easier now my vision is very clear.
