I have had a terrible experience with this surgery. Continuious UTI infections over the last 5 years, no referral, do not see me face to face and now on my third different antibiotics as I’m immune to the others. No care at all! I have called today as having issues relating another problem and all I got on the phone was ‘we cannot help, call back tomorrow’ how is this acceptable. No wonder the NHS hospitals are rammed as all they do is send you to them. Will be trying to move to another surgery and will be letting everyone know to never go here

I have been with this surgery for many years and it has gone down hill. My most recent experience was that it took an hour queuing to talk to reception to even get in the triage list. I never get to see a doctor face to face and this occasion was no different. once I explained my symptoms I was asked what I wanted the doctor to do. I would have thought that was obvious, I didn't want to feel how I was feeling anymore, I had no idea what it was, what to do and if I should be worried. I wanted care. I was given a blood test in the end, but I felt that was suggested to get me off the phone. I then had to call back again and wait another 20mins to talk to reception to book a blood test, of which they had no free slots until 15th August, I would have to wait a month. I asked if I could have an appt at the hospital to be told that it was a long wait there too. I asked if it would be quicker then the surgery and the receptionist said "I don't know, I don't work for the hospital". All very helpful. Managed to have a blood test 3 working days later at Basingstoke Hospital, which was super speedy and friendly. I ended up having to have an out of hours appt at the Hook surgery. Which is like night and day compared to Bermuda and Marlowe. the doctors and nurses listened, didn't rush you, made you feel like you were important and your health mattered. Their care was so kind that I cried in relief to have a doctor actually listen to me and want to help me, rather than get me off the phone. I also got to see them face to face, which made me so much more confident in their diagnosis. Phone triage is terrible if you do not know what is wrong, you do not know how to communicate or have the language to be able to communicate effectively. I feel that with Bermuda and Marlow I have to call up and give them my diagnosis myself. At the moment google is more friendly and helpful than Bermuda and Marlow.
