I was given a glowing review and many promises by the manager of the home when shown around, unfortunately the reality of this home was the opposite. Leaking ceilings, poor staffing levels and a manager that was rarely there and showed little concern when she was. Overworked care staff with little patience with some residents, a lone nurse with too much to do resulting in chaos and poor care. The care staff, many from an agency, trying their best but looked lost and inexperienced. Following issues and a lack of action from the manager we were fortunate enough to find an alternative home. I find it difficult to accept this home has a rating of good by the CQC but it appears this was given some years ago and not revised since.
