Attended urology on the 18th august at 8.30am only to find there was nobody there to see me again the nurse said we tried to call me that morning to say it was cancelled but received no call these cancellations are commonplace at this hospital as it's happened several times this needs addressing urgently

  2. Review titled Excellent service

Rated 5 stars out of 5

Came by ambulance to the Manor with my 82 year old neighbour after she collapsed. Paramedics were outstanding. Everyone at the Manor Hospital from receptionist to nurse's,doctors and porters also outstanding. We even got tea and a sandwiches which we were very grateful for after a long day. This gesture overwhelmed me. They even called a taxi for us to go home and took us out to the driver. I cannot say how absolutely grateful I am for the care and attention given to my neighbour at the Manor Hospital. Thank you.

  3. Review titled Great care

Rated 5 stars out of 5

by Joanne Fletcher - Posted on 26 July 2022

My daughter recently sadly suffered a miscarriage the staff on the early pregnancy unit have been amazing and outstanding so compassionate. The next day they asked her to come back to the unit and the wonderful staff had made her a memory box for her baby. This has meant so much to my daughter and our family. Thank you for you your kindness during a very difficult time.

Thank you - I am sorry for the delay you have experienced and my apologies for this. There are occasions where the wait is longer than would be anticipated simply due to demand and dependent upon the time of arrival in the department. The wait can be frustrating and I understand your disappointment. I note you visited in June and should you want us to identify the problems on this day please do contact us via 01922 656463 or email patientrelations@walsallhealthcare.nhs.uk Thank you Garry Perry Associate Director Patient Relations and Experience

Attended with severe pain due to kidney stones and abdominal pains twice in the same week at a&e by ambulance was sent to scau unit and spent 11 hrs and had to return home then attended on wednesday with same symptoms by ambulance and was given antibiotics and painkiller and discharged without seeing a consultant or doctor to speak to even though i requested one. I am a 69yr old disabled pensioner with the loss of my right leg have to self catherise 4 times a day and cannot believe i was sent home in my condition. Perhaps one day i pass away and am pain free
