    If you want cheering up during these dismal, gloomy times go and spend a day with the lovely team in Day Surgery! Friendly, welcoming, attentive, dedicated and all extremely knowledgeable. I particularly enjoyed the singing along to Smooth fm! Thanks for the lovely day guys and I’m feeling better already!

    After a 14 hour wait for an MRI scan in A and E (which unfortunately never happened) I paid my £11 parking fee as I left.. Today I’ve received a £100 parking fine notice from the contracted parking ‘chancers’ … Luckily I kept my payment receipt and can cross reference it against my Visa card.. Watch out and ensure you print off a receipt!!

  3. Review titled MDU experience

    Despite a long (8hr) wait time in fairly cramped conditions, I commend the MDU staff for dealing with my husband in a cheerful and positive way during his time in this department this week. In particular the clinician who oversaw his assessment, scans and eventual explanation of the results and future path is to be praised for being so focussed, professional, understanding and clear in her tests and explanations. We very much appreciated this and felt the way we were dealt with by all the staff was first rate. Thank you.

    I phoned the ward as i was pregnant and feeling very unwell and had been let down by an ambulance that didnt come.The nurse told me to come in .. my obs were taken as well as a urine sample after a few hours i was seen by a doctor who examined me with a student nurse with her.she was worries about the amount of pain i was in so i then had a internal scan by another woman.She then told me i had an eptopic preganacy and needed to go into theater straight away.I was then taken straight to a side room pain relife given and waiting to go through.The ward staff were all so nice and throughout my 2 night stay and let me partner stay in the sideroom with me.All hcas nurses and theater staff were really great and i really am greatfull. Thankyou !!

    Please fix your awful phone system. Every single clinic that I have received phone calls from recently have been badly distorted making the doctor almost completely unintelligible. There's nothing wrong with my phone as I can have perfect calls with anyone else. I'm seriously unwell which is affecting my ability to comprehend conversations so having a hugely distorted voice getting all arsey with me because I can't understand what they're saying really isn't helpful.
