My son had his one year check up at Cheadle Health Centre this morning, The HV took a lot of time to get to know my son and was genuinely interested and attentive. The appointment was thorough and very informative. Thank you!

Review titled Timid to Tiger - parenting anxious children

The parenting team gave me the skills I needed to parent my anxious child. By using these skills my child is showing signs of becoming less anxious at preschool and is now very excited to start school,Which was my main aim from the course. The team were very encouraging when I gave feedback each week and helped me feel positive about how I am parenting my children.

We attended the invest in play group and I generally loved it. I felt a sense of community as we was all struggling and I felt I was alone. I felt like I couldn’t cope anymore. This group and meeting like minded people has really helped me and made me feel confident. I’m so glad I came.

My son reacted to a fruit within our first week of weaning and I needed advice on what to do following this. I Rang the helpline and knew what I needed within 3 minutes and resolved the issue.

Review titled Baby weight gain

My now 6-month-old baby has been regularly weighed at the Heaton Norris Centre. This is due to him losing weight at 3 months. The staff have supported me and him to gradually regain the weight and I’m happy to say he is thriving ready for solid foods. The staff are always polite, friendly and approachable.
