  1. Review titled Commited

Rated 5 stars out of 5

by Gaynor McAlister - Posted on 10 November 2022

I was brought by ambulance to Frimley Park Hospital with chest pains and in a sorry state. The care I received as exemplary, I was made to feel “safe” and cared for. It was explained on arrival I was having a “heart attack.” Great care was taken to explain the procedure which would be taking place and what effect this would have on my body. I was reassured at each stage verbally and there was often a hand just tapping my shoulder just as a little extra support. The high level of care continued in the ward from the nursing staff to the cleaners and the friendly and jovial staff delivering food. No stay in hospital is pleasant and more often then not it is scary and uncertain All the staff I encountered at Frimley Park Hospital went the extra mile to ensure my stay with them was the best experience possible with the highest level of care.

  2. Review titled Kind and caring staff

Rated 5 stars out of 5

by Ewa Thomson - Posted on 21 November 2022

A few days ago my husband brought me in to A&E after a bad fall at home. I was in intense pain in my leg which made worse by any movement. I was checked in quickly and soon afterwards a nurse took my details and I was sent for an x ray. I was then put into a side room where a nursing assistant made sure I was as comfortable as possible. I had to wait for a while for the doctor to see me but in that time members of staff checked on me and we were offered hot drinks. The doctor said I had not broken any bones and could go home with some painkillers. The nursing assistant insisted that I try to walk a few steps before leaving, she did this firmly and kindly. Despite the department being very busy, everyone was kind and caring, introducing themselves by name.

  3. Review titled Bowel Cancer Screening

Rated 5 stars out of 5

Just want to thank everyone at the unit for all their help and support yesterday. I was full of trepidation when I arrived but the kindness and support I received was exemplary. Whilst it might be tempting to ignore an invitation for a screen (I did to start with), believe me it's worthwhile. You'll be safe in Heatherwood's hands!

  4. Review titled Good experience in A&E

Rated 5 stars out of 5

by Michael Tuffery - Posted on 27 October 2022

I was brought in by ambulance with chest pains and was attended to by A&E staff quickly and efficiently, with ECG and bloods taken straight away. They were really caring and friendly and put me at ease. The medical student and consultant who then saw me were fantastic and kept regular checks on me until my discharge about 3 1/2 later.

  5. Review titled Excellent care in the Day Surgery Unit Frimley

Rated 5 stars out of 5

by Sarah - Posted on 23 September 2022

I just wanted to say thank you to everyone who was involved in my care when I had an operation on the 13th of September. I was terrified of the idea of coming into hospital, but I was looked after exceptionally well. Please can you pass on a special thanks to the student midwife on placement who was observing my surgery and stayed with me for the whole day, it really did help calm my nerves and they made sure that I was always comfortable.

Rated 5 stars out of 5

by Natalie - Posted on 23 August 2022

Thank you for being so kind and caring to my daughter. You always spoke with her rather than just me, and helped her feel included in her own care as a 4 year old. You’re all brilliant.

  9. Review titled Excellent standards of care

Rated 5 stars out of 5

by Anonymous - Posted on 21 July 2022

I would like to pass on my thanks to the ladies who cared for me while I was having a breast biopsy in the radiology department this week. They were all wonderfully kind and considerate in making sure I was comfortable. The procedure was carefully explained and I felt as though I was in the very best hands. All my experiences with FPH have always been excellent but i really felt they went above and beyond what was required in ensuring I had the best care.

  10. Review titled Great practice

Rated 5 stars out of 5

    by Annie&Edith - Posted on 30 June 2022

My 2 month old was taken sick and we were rushed to wexham by the GP. From the minute we were seen, even as my baby got worse I felt a sense of relief. The staff were amazing, everything that could be done was done as efficiently as possible. It happened to be a really busy night that we were admitted and our first full day on the ward was also really busy, the care we received was still brilliant and even though our case wasn't as serious as others we felt our baby was just as important. Everyone I came across during our stay was lovely, from the housekeeping staff to the drs. I'd love to name them all but there's too many! The ladies and gentlemen in the children's department, PAU and ward 24 are amazing! I couldn't thank them enough, I have no doubt in my mind that if I ever needed them again I'd be full of confidence that my babies are in safe hands. Thank you
