   I have been seeing my GP regarding my mental health. I have been constantly advised to seek out a referral. I have tried multiple times in the last year to get help. It seems the staff take no notice of when you are available to talk over the phone. Why ask a recommended time if you are not capable of delivering? In all of my referrals, I have requested calls after 3pm due to my job. However I keep getting missed calls at inappropriate times and voicemails telling me I am discharged from an unaccessible service.

   Dear William, my name is Isla Skinner, Head of Patient Experience at the Trust. I am really sorry you have had such a lot of difficulty with this, and I hope I can help you resolve it. I completely understand that you cannot take calls at work, and I am sorry we did not act in line with the information you gave us about your availability. That must be frustrating for you, and of course we don't want to delay you being able to get the help we can offer. I have already contacted the senior manager for the area, and asked her to arrange for a member of the My Wellbeing College to contact you within the next few days, between 3pm and 5pm. It sounds as if they should have your contact details, but if you want to make sure we have your phone number you can send it to us to pass on by emailing involve@bdct.nhs.uk or call 01274 228298 . You can also use that email or phone number to reach us directly if you need any more help with this. Unfortunately, I am not in the office next week so if you do contact my team, please mark it FAO Emma. I will make sure she knows what has already been done so she can follow up if need be. Thank you for letting us know so we can put this right.
