I had open heart Aortic Value Replacement Surgery at Wythenshawe on in December 2023. I was referred to Tameside Hospital on discharge for Cardiac Rehab. I contacted Tameside Hospital and spoke to them in last week of Jan 2024 who contacted Ashton Primary Care Center Apcc to arrange, they left a number of messages for them to respond . I have also tried directly to contact them but have only managed to leave messages on an answerphone. I have also called Wythenshawe Cardiac Rehab Nurses, about this several times over the last 3 weeks and they have tried to get a response as well, but to no avail. I really do not need the stress and am greatly upset by the ignorant and rude lack of any response whatsoever from Ashton Primary care Center. I am at my wits end with the whole thing and am approaching the time when I just wont bother with the rehab as its quite obvious the staff at Apcc are incapable of any sort of professional interaction with patients let alone any actual physio!!!! I have spoken again to today Wythenshawe and Tameside Hospital staff re the lack of response from Apcc both of whom have attempted to get appointment dates for me with No avail. Surely after more than 10 calls you would of thought they might respond!!!!!

Two voicemail messages from the pulmary care.dept stating to phone a return number. That only is for outgoing calls only why do they insist on using. This number

I was given an iron infusion and the nurses in the IV Center were so kind, professional and patient. A brilliant group of women who made the entire experience (for me and some other very frail patients) a lot easier.

  4. Review titled Great Staff

Rated 5 stars out of 5

I visited this morning and unfortunately the lift I needed to get to the red zone was not working. I spoke to ground floor reception and asked if there was another way to get up to the red zone as I can’t use stairs due to my medical issues. The person on reception radioed for a security guard, as an access pass was needed, and he accompanied me up to the red zone via a different lift. Both reception staff and the security guard were very friendly and helpful and not once did they make me feel like I was being a problem. What lovely people!
