  1. Review titled Cruel inhumane service

Was forced to transfer from services in the east when I moved house, keyworker assigned wrote inaccurate notes, constantly spoke over me, brought up severely traumatising events and left me to stew alone with them for months at a time. After 5 months on a medication that left me severely disturbed and like a ghost the psychiatrist finally took me off it, despite me having told the keyworker several times it was making me hallucinate and too tired to function and him assuring me it was being dealt with. Finally came to a head this month when they told me they had to call me in for a meeting to discuss my future care and for me to agree to this. Given I'd had virtually nothing for 6 months it seemed like things were finally looking up. Turned out they'd called the meeting to kick me out of service and there was no choice in this. A very big and heartless lie told by two people supposedly in charge of the most important aspects of the service. Not a single apology for the service I've received (eg. keyworker writing simple phrases or words on my notes such as 'restless' when I'm telling him I'm suicidal). I have huge issues surrounding mood regulation and am frequently suicidal. On occasions I have tried to take my own life, but apparently this isn't high risk enough to be in service. On the other hand, I have issues with anger, paranoia and crippling anxiety and apparently these are too dangerous to work with and I have to sort them out by myself, all alone! It's all my fault! Their words and inferences, not mine. I've heard horror stories like this a lot over the last few years, one resulting in the most tragic outcome possible, but I seldom believed a service that is there to protect vulnerable people with mental health issues could actually be the cause of most of what I have to experience alone now every day and night. People who go to university wanting to do this, wanting to make a difference and change people's lives for the better. How can those same people so flippantly remove somebody from the service who is in crisis and getting no better, largely as a result of their mistakes and ignorance. I'm sure there are good staff there, like there are good people and bad people everywhere you go, but I certainly never spoke to one more than once. Avoid this place at all costs, you'll go in sick and come out sicker.
