I visited primary care in Kidderminster this evening after obtaining an injury at the weekend. Although there was a fairly long wait as it was busy, when I did get seen by the emergency nurse practitioner, my experience exceeded my expectations. I know for the review I'm unable to give details on the name or the gender of the practitioner, but I'd just like to share what a superb person the individual seemed. Apologetic, even though I completely understood how busy it was, really personable, confident examination and I really appreciated how clearly my injury was explained to me and the instructions that I need to do to heal. A true asset to the team and to the NHS. Thank you! Kellie

I visited the opthalmology department for the second time, what great staff they have, friendly informative and efficient, 5 stars to every one of them

I was worried about my husbands blood pressure, and although they are accident & energency they were great and very helpful p ut my mind at rest and sent message to our doctors, cannot praise them enough Zena Freer

I was not looking forward to this process, but the staff put me at ease quickly. They were all very professional and the new unit was superb. I was made comfortable before treatment and every aspect of the process was explained to me. I was dealt with in a very considerate manner and the outcome of the colonoscopy was explained to me. I was given a copy of the report being sent to my doctor and advised to rest until the effects of the local anaesthetic wore off. The equipment used was bang up to date and I cannot fault my treatment.

I attended the midwife hub yesterday for my quad test, I arrived two minutes after my appointment time due to a full car park and was asked to take a seat and wait to be called. After 45 minutes of waiting and listening to informal chit chat between Reception and Staff, I asked for an update on my appointment as I was concerned about running late and receiving a parking fine. I was told not to worry about the car park and continue waiting. Whilst I waited, it became apparent that a large portion of the other patients had been seen, a lot of which had arrived after myself. I became increasingly frustrated that there also seemed to be time to fit in walk-in flu jabs during my wait, which it turned out were being completed by the midwife I was scheduled to see. When I was finally called into see the midwife after an hour of waiting, they stated 'we didn't think you were coming in today, as your appointment was an hour ago', you can imagine my sheer surprise and frustration at the comment, at which stage the midwife informed me that the Reception team had not actually notified the midwife or student midwife of my arrival or continued wait. The midwife was apologetic, to which I was thankful, but the Reception team have proven uninterested in ensuring scheduled appointments take place when they should, and are more interested in daily chit chat than patient care or adhering to their roles and responsibilities. This is a place in which expectant mothers should feel cared for and confident in the performance of staff, not uncomfortable, stressed and frustrated at what should be simple tasks and communication in a health care facility.

I visited Dermatology for a minor operation on my face on Friday 24th am. The Doctor and the Nurses were very helpful and kind. The service they provided was excellent and I was delighted with the overall experience. I would certainly recommend the hospital for treatment.
