   I have a friend on the inpatient ward at Westlands. She is not allowed visitors and her family have no information about her. Even though she is sectioned she has legal rights. A blanket ban on visitors is outrageous. The two times I have rang to ask about it the staff either didn't know and were very short. If they are like this with friends of the patient what are they like with the vulnerable adult. Very worrying. No info due to data protection which only makes people more vulnerable due to lack of accountability. I have deep deep concerns that her family don't know anything about what is happening. This is very very frightening.
