I feel disgusted with how I was pushed out of an appointment for an MRI at Nene Park Outpatients on the 19th at 17:45. I was turned away because I “might have been pregnant” despite knowing I wasn’t, and being told that it was policy despite the fact that I had barely even just come off of my monthly. Once I had left, 10 minutes later all 3 of the staff in the unit left and gone into their cars to which they then drove off. After talking to multiple medical professionals, both relatives and my own doctor, they all say that this is ridiculous and that being pregnant does not change the outcome of having an MRI. That especially seeing as it was an appointment supposed to have been done ASAP as said by my doctor. The doctors says that the MRI does not do anything even if I was pregnant. They then told me that I would be reached out to within the next month to reschedule. As I said, I am definitely not pregnant. Yet I find this treatment disgusting.

Experience at Nene park is always fantastic. It is so great to have this place so close to home, rather than having to go to KGH. Staff and nurses are always friendly, never had to wait very long for blood tests.

I’v had blood tests at other places. Wait weeks to get in , wait for hours for a blood tests Nene park is very clean, staff are so helpful & professional. Iv had a lot of blood tests recently, iv never waited more than 5 min . The results are either in that day or the following . Exceptional

At 3.10 yesterday afternoon we arrived in the car park for a blood test appointment. I am diabetic2 with severe peripheral neuropathy, aged 84. On leaving our car, my undercarriage gave way and I crashed backwards onto the ground unable to get upright. It seemed within seconds, I was surrounded by the helping hands of the Nursing Staff. My wife who was also there assisting counted 10 Nurses, present within minutes. They were both compassionate and efficient, working instinctively together and their underlying training played out before our eyes. Cleverly, they managed to get me firstly upright again and then seated in a wheelchair. I was wheeled into the building, given a cup of tea which helped to get me over the shock of the fall. The Nurse in charge of extracting the Blood Sample from me had stayed behind whilst the Pantomime in the car park took place and she was able to take the blood sample, forward it to the hospital's Laboratory within the required time and all was recovered. I am truly grateful to all the Nurses and I can't both praise them and thank them enough.

The clinic building itself was very new, clean, spacious and had lots of natural sunlight. Door and receptionist staff were very friendly and informative. Everything just seemed so organised and efficient. I had a liver fibroscan and arrived 30 minutes early for my appointment. I was seen after just a 5 minute wait. The nurse carrying out the scan was really friendly and answered all my questions. I've been to a few NHS clinics and my experience has never been this good. My only criticism is that the clinic is in quite a random and remote location so i had to get a bus. Overall, fantastic service - thanks!
