   They genuinely do not care until you are at crisis point. Even then I’m thoroughly unconvinced that would be enough. Experienced multiple referrals via gp to Trevillis, all of which ended in them deciding not to take me on and giving me online self help workbooks and paid mental health services. A complete waste of my time considering referrals tend to happen when you can’t help yourself. Would wholeheartedly never recommend Trevillis to anyone. Save yourself the same trouble.

   After my mother experiencing some episodes of Psychosis and trying to involve the mental health team in assessment and support I have not, after 4 months of trying had any help, support or involvement from this team. A circular motion of referral, discharge, urine samples to rule out UTI, referral, discharge, urine samples to rule out a UTI ... three times and with a total lack of communication! I have absolutely no faith in this service and our mental health provision within Cornwall. They have failed a frail, distressed older lady vulnerable in her community.
