   I bought my daughter into MIU. We were on holiday and she had developed a high temperature and swollen tonsils. We went to the MIU on a Monday morning and were seen quickly and treated with empathy and understanding.

2. Review titled Communicating MIU closure

   After my 1 year old sustained a head injury, thought best to check wound and impact, urgency being a priority. Tried to attend both Helston Minor Injury Unit and Falmouth MIU both closed on Bank Holiday weekend!!. NHS quicker, Cornwall Foundation Partnership and NHS website advise the MIUs are open. I feel If you do not have the staff to support the community, as a bare minimum you could have a better method of telling the public than a note left on the door. I feel thats Appalling!

   Thank you for your feedback and we wish to offer our sincere apologies for your poor experience with Helston/Falmouth Minor Injury Unit. It seems that the website was not updated and we will look into the reason why. If you need the Minor Injury Unit service, in the future, please ring 111 and they will inform you of the units that are available. We have directed your feedback to the Matrons of the relevant hospitals for their attention.
