  1. Review titled Great Service

Rated 5 stars out of 5

I was at St George’s for a catheter ablation, and was very nervous. The staff recognised this and were very professional and understanding throughout. I can’t praise the hospital enough.

  2. Review titled Lab error caused unnecessary distress

Rated 4 stars out of 5

We took our eight year old who experiences anxiety for an assessment at the Blue sky unit on Monday 23rd January 2023, during which blood tests were taken. The dr, nurses and play workers were all very caring, thoughtful and professional throughout their engagement. . Two days later we were informed that the lab had lost a sample of blood and the test had to be done again. Our child has never had blood taken before & it was extremely distressing for them to have to return & do this test again. The lab’s only responsibly it to efficiently process bloods & their results. This poor service has caused a young child to be anxious about returning to hospital. Whilst we had an apology from dr & nursing staff there has been no acknowledgment or apology from the lab. Mistakes happen and they need to take responsibility.

  3. Review titled Not walking support provided!!

Rated 3 stars out of 5

I have been yesterday in the hospital in the Radiology department for a painful foot sprain and the most unbelievable thing is that the department had no crutches or other walking aids to offer to the patients !! They told me to ask my GP centre (which they didn't even have) or the pharmacy (I've been to three pharmacies and none had them and they ended telling me to order them on Amazon!) You can't imagine the physical effort I have had to do, jumping with no support , to look for these crutches !! What a shame and what horrible experience! This is the NHS support at St.George Hospital!
