We called here after a RTA after first trying our local MIU at Bridgwater was closed-we arrived before 7pm it turned away as “they were too busy to see us”. Two local services closed on the same evening-advice was go to Mysgrove A&E - our visit was not an emergency so didn’t want to waste space at A&E

The receptionist and nurses (I saw 3 of them) were all excellent. I was unable to get an appointment at my G.P. surgery who suggested I came here. The nurses were caring and took time talking to me and considering treatment. I went away feeling reassured, looking better and with a prescription in case I needed it at the weekend. The service was first class and I can’t recommend it highly enough. Thank you.

My gardening minor injury was efficiently dealt with straightaway. The staff on duty between 5pm and 6pm on Monday 19th February were all professional, pleasant and cheerful and there was a quiet calmness in the building which was clean and orderly. Thank you to everyone :)

Called into A and E this morning as couldn’t get an appointment with GP. Super efficient staff, welcoming reception and excellent treatment. A credit to the NHS.

Unfortunately due to an ongoing health problem, I have had to visit MIU on a regular basis in the last few months. But my goodness, how lucky am I to have such a wonderful urgent care centre so close to home. I am always greated by the friendliest reception staff, they are so kind, caring and compassionate. Being welcomed in this way as soon as you walk through the door feels so comforting. All of the nurses/medical staff that I have interacted with have been truly amazing. They really go above and beyond for their patients. I have been outstanded by their level of care on numerous occasions. Without their support, I dread to think where I would be today. I will forever be thankful. They are all liturally walking angels on earth and we are all so very blessed to have them.

I have recently spent 4 days visiting my Aunt in hospital and am so impressed by the staff and how friendly, efficient and accommodating they are. They really are a credit to the NHS and Somerset are very lucky indeed to have such a facility.

Thanks to all the staff on Abbey Ward for your kindness, and especially to the nurse who intervened when I had low blood sugar, and to the physios and the activities coordinator. I am doing well at home and wish you all a merry Christmas.

Took my cousin at the weekend, he had injured his leg while walking his dog. He was seen almost straight away, excellent service from all staff we came in to contact with. From leaving home to returning home was about 2 hours.

I went to the emergency dept after work last Friday as I had a swelling appear on my jaw and cheek the previous evening I phoned my doctor on the Friday morning and they wouldn’t see me as they said it sounded like a dental problem. The pain was terrible all day at work so. I decided to visit the Mendip when I finished I was unsure if they would be able to help but I was desperate and it was the nearly the weekend.I was met by a lady behind the desk and I explained my problem and added I wasn’t sure if they could help,to which she “replied of course we can” please take a seat, I was so relived I waited for probably just over half an hour there was a few few other people in there also then a lovely nurse called me in, I explained everything and she took my blood pressure and pulse she examined my mouth and said I had a abscess on my mouth which explained the heat and the swelling which was happening, she immediately prescribed me a course of penicillin and some cool patches and that was it, I was so grateful to her I couldn’t believe how helpful and understanding they were. I have been taking my medication and now it’s all back to normal that’s to the hospital and it’s lovely nurses, they really are amazing the hospital is lovely and clean and spacious and most importantly welcoming, I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them to anyone.Excellent service and 100% dedicated staff. Many thanks to you all. X

I wasn't aware of this feedback facility until now, so my comment is a little late. The end piece of my hearing aid became detached and lost in my ear. I cannot speak highly enough of the care I received. I had to wait to be seen for a while, perfectly reasonable. When I was called, the nurse was gentle, kind and dealt with the issue quickly. Thank you to everyone.
