Had minor surgery yesterday and I was treated with care, respect and compassion. Absolutely fantastic team with a wonderful sense of humour making my time with them relaxed and happy. Their commitment should never be overlooked or forgotten, they are a credit to their profession and the hospital they work in. Thank you.

Absolutely shocked with the way I was spoken to by the receptionist (man) also was disgusted with the care I received for my daughter. Was made to feel as if I was wasting time. Horrendous service and will never return.

Had the ear bud from my hearing aid stuck deep in my ear, from the lady on reception to the two people I saw who managed to remove it for me, they were just so kind and professional, really grateful to have this in Minehead. They should be proud of themselves. Thank you.

When you have a sick child with special needs and your kept waiting for hours to see someone I find totally unacceptable especially when the child doesn’t understand her condition and has to wait hours to be seen

Had to visit minor injuries as my son became unwell whilst on holiday locally and we are 200 miles away from home, so it was a very worrying time. All staff including main reception, minor injuries reception, student nurse and senior nurse practitioner were all so friendly, kind and reassuring. We were seen very quickly, the nurse listened and took her time, reassuring my son and I the whole time. The whole experience was seamless, we were in and out within half an hour. It is a clean inviting hospital and easy parking. You all deserve lots of praise. Thank you

waited 2hours in A&E which did not mind I was prepared to wait as long as it took I had a nasty fall and broke wrist but people had been waiting since 9am it was by now 11 am nobody had been seen or called in no staff had been seen by anybody waited till 1 2 hours later nobody went in or saw any staff have went and bought a crepe bandage. problem was not waiting but no staff appeared in all that time others gave up and went elsewhere is this what they want at minehead.

While on holiday, partner had tummy pains, she went to Minehead Hospital and was seen by their minor injuries unit who spent an hour and a half checking her out. They contacted her GP and recommended that she make an appointment to attend. We were very impressed the service, it's this that makes the NHS absolutely great.

made me wait 3 hours for an xray on broken leg that they asked me to come for. all knowing i will have to walk 17miles to get home as my lift cant stay 3 hours waiting..

I would like to thank all the team in Minehead Community Hospitals day surgery unit. From the initial booking and communications , planning of the operation date to the actual surgery and discharge. I can honestly say that all members of staff were caring, friendly, professional and clearly very competent. I was well informed, looked after with care and efficiency. The surgeon was brilliant, demonstrated experience and skill. It was so convenient having a surgical procedure in Minehead, less travel, less cost and more relaxing for me. Having such expertise and opportunity locally is truly valuable. The department was clean, spacious and provided a good environment to have a procedure. I cannot thank the team enough. Keep up the hardwork.
