  1. Review titled Great 111 service.

Rated 5 stars out of 5

Phoned 111 with my daughter 16week old. She had a bad cold and was working hard to breathe- not worthy of an ambulance, but needed to see a doc- booked it at Bournemouth Urgent care centre - fab service by call handler and nurse. Thankyou.

  3. Review titled Fantastic call handler

Rated 5 stars out of 5

by Mrs Linzi Howlett - Posted on 03 April 2023

I called today as my daughter had fallen off her scooter and broken her tooth and was experiencing pain. Our call handler was amazing. This is the first time I have used this trust's service as I am currently on holiday at my friend's house. Our call handler is a true asset to your team and should definitely be recognised for their amazing customer service. Thank you so much.

Phoned with an ongoing debilitating myalgia, fever and headache for 7 days over the Christmas period. Spoke to a call handler who booked me in 3 hours later. Great service. If you have a cold read the website.

  5. Review titled 111 & Urgent Community Response Team

Rated 5 stars out of 5

I have had various interactions with 111 over the last month for both myself and a family member. On the last two occasions there was no wait to speak to a 111 adviser either which is impressive under the current pressures. On one occasion I was referred to an Urgent Treatment Centre in Dorset County Hospital which I didn't even know existed. There was no wait and I was seen by a GP within 5 minutes and prescribed with what I needed. On another occasion 111 sent out the Urgent Community Response team to a family member who I was caring for and they arrived within 3 hours. I was really impressed that instead of just trying to resolve the acute issue we called for, they looked at the situation holistically and have prevented potential Ambulance callouts and hospital admissions.
