Visted pain management today and all I felt was the lady wanted to rid of me and kept saying do you want me to discharge you. Suppose to be a physio specialist.

Dear All at Urology, Broomfield, may I just say Thank you again for your excellent care and attention given regarding my prostate problems, and arranging MRI, Ultrasound and Cystoscopy, the whole team at Urology were so good. From my first visit to todays visit. And Cystoscopy- The Lady I saw and her team were brilliant. And very good indeed. As were all staff I have met during my visits to date. Thank you very much. I have ongoing visits to look at options re my enlarged prostate and feel confident with your support and care this will be rectified. I am post my Colonoscopy that I had also dealing with the Colorectal department as you’re aware re my bowels , now awaiting a review. Best thing on all counts is results to date re no sign of cancer, I am massively relieved and your detailed examinations are very much appreciated. Thank you. David Hill

  5. Review titled Some bad communication skills

by Anonymous - Posted on 25 March 2024

Just spent over a week in a respiratory ward. 95% of the staff were fantastic, caring was genuine and thoughtful. There were one or two with whom it was impossible to communicate. They either couldn't hear or didn't understand what I was asking for. In the end I just gave up trying to talk

  6. Review titled Attentive, clean and friendly hospital

Rated 5 stars out of 5

My mum is currently an inpatient under a Maxillo-facial consultant. She has admitted to Billericay Ward and then moved to Stock Ward. Every member of staff on both of these wards has had a friendly, happy aura about them and nothing feels like too much trouble. The wards and even the non clinical areas of Broomfield Hospital are clean and tidy. I am a nurse myself and feel reassured that my mum is in good hands. Thank you for the wonderful healthcare service you are providing.

  7. Review titled Differing experiences

Rated 4 stars out of 5

I was admitted to Broomfield after a RTA where I sustained a compound fracture of my tibula and fibula. The immediate care was good with all scans and X-rays done quickly. Then about 5 hours after the admission attempts were made to dress my leg. Given that it was completely broken and flopping around with a wound to be asked to lift my leg up and then a staff member lifting my foot up by the toes you can imagine what happened. Thankfully I was admitted to Notley ward and operated on by Mr D thanks everyone on the ward- amazing! I am a nurse with an amazing team and the staff on Notley ward very much reminded me of my team, caring, respectful, good team dynamics. Watching M as she mentored her student was just what we want for the next generation of nurses. The Physio and housekeeping team were superb too. Thanks D and the team on Notley ward for your help getting me home after what I can only describe as the most horrendous 48 hours of my life.

  9. Review titled Excellent Care

Rated 5 stars out of 5

Have just been discharged from Broomfield Hospital today after an operation for skin cancer which required an overnight stay. The surgical team and all the staff on Mayflower Ward all showed me exceptional care for what was a scary experience. Nothing was too much trouble for any of them from the consultant surgeon through to the young man serving teas and meals. I cannot speak highly enough of any of them. Thank you so much for all your care and consideration

Amazing doctor from max fax took so much care with my sons facial stitches. Childrens A&E were completely overrun with asthma issues and were all so calm and informative, they all deserve a pay increase and a medal Thank you
