A walk in service to the Minor Injuries Department that was able to see me almost immediately. I was assessed and then quickly received treatment and medication and advice going forward. All this took place within 30 minutes and I was on my way without having to find a pharmacy that was open after 6pm. This was amazing considering I was not alone as the department was busy.

Went in for surgery under bowel screening today. The surgeon, nurses and all staff were fabulous they were extremely reassuring, especially when I became embarrassed and put me at ease. They work together as a wonderful team and nothing was too much trouble for them before during and after my daycase surgery. I cannot thank them all enough for the support they gave me and my partner reassuring us both and making us feel at ease. Everyone is very quick to complain but I am complimenting you all on the wonderful service and kindness I have received from start to finish you are all a credit to your profession thank you again

Went in to MIU for a suspected broken toe. Took about 2 hours from arrival to discharge, very straightforward, friendly staff.

I attended the minor injuries unit tonight at Malvern Community Hospital. I barely had time to check in and sit down before I was called in. I was dealt with in a friendly, efficient and helpful way. My issue was sorted out quickly, I was given easy to understand information including what to do if I needed more help. This is a fantastic service in the heart of our community. It is accessible, convenient and provides a high quality service from start to finish. I have only needed to use this a handful of times, but on each occasion I had a similar experience. Hopefully, the powers that be will never consider cuts to this essential service. I would say that on the contrary, it should be extended to take the pressure away from Emergency Departments in busy acute hospitals. Thank you to all the staff for a truly excellent service.

I took my Mum to the minor injuries department as she had had a fall and hurt her leg. She was treated promptly, with great courtesy and excellent medical care.
