I was so nervous I had to be reminded to breath during my cataract surgery, the team who cared for me were absalutely brilliant, so patient and tolerant because I had one eye under the drape and another looking for the door. My sight has improved already only 4 days post op so that is why I give a 100☆ from me rating as the care and expertise at Withinton General Hospital is excellent. Ex

The staff is amazing, very attentive and willing to help. I feel very warm there. However, it's been difficult to get my two injections, mtx and cimzia, I have already done the blood tests, however I'm unable to get the injections from the provider, as they say they did not get the prescriptions yet. Are you able to help with this as I'm without them for a couple of weeks now? And even though I have been calling every day, my calls are not been returned. Thank you for all the support.

Would like to say my Dad's treatment/appointment today in Audiology was excellent,very personable and professional.Thanks to all the staff who made this experience a good one for a very appreciative 93 year old.

Been waiting for an appointment for almost 2 years. Received notification that I had a telephone appointment at 10am on Monday 15 January 2024. Waited in all day with my mobile next to me and guess what? Nothing! Not even a cancellation notice. Disgraceful service. Nobody has been in touch. So very disappointed, after waiting so long. Must try harder NHS. If I had a cancellation I would have accepted it, but no, absolutely nothing.

Visited the Treatment Centre twice, on both occasions staff were extremely polite, kind and caring to my very nervous husband. The hospital itself is very clean and welcoming and nothing is too much trouble from the staff who work there, from the consultants to the admin to the cafe and security staff . Great experience of the nhs at its best.

I had a small operation on Sunday the staff were all absolutely amazing very professional at what they do I couldn’t be more grateful they talked to me throughout the operation they explained what was happening and kept checking on how I was doing I felt a little light headed after the operation through laying down they gave me a biscuit and bottle of water and put a fan on me to cool me down and wouldn’t let me leave until they were 100% sure I was ok thank you very much

I had a cataract assessment on the 5th July and due to a cancellation. I had my cataract surgery on the 6th July. Both the assessment & surgery first class professional services and advise all aspects of the procedure and surgery was given. I was made to feel very comfortable and made to feel relaxed and all questions were answered. The surgery and after care and advice second to none and the care was excellent. Thank you to all the staff in the cataract department and help with my disability of deafness to the care shown and given to me.

I was incredibly pleased with the care I received at Withington Hospital. After sustaining an injury at work, the plastics team were able to see me the next morning and I had my surgery the same afternoon. My surgeon was very professional and out me at ease. He performed the procedure with care and skill. The after care was excellent; I was seen once a week for the following three weeks to make sure I was getting on okay. My appointments were always bang on schedule. The medical team were extremely friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. Everyone involved in my care here was absolute pleasure to deal with.

I visited Withington Hospital for an MRI scan last week and I have to thank the wonderful team of NHS Radiographers. From my arrival and throughout they were so friendly and so helpful, taking the time to explain everything. They all made this experience for me less stressful and less anxious. I think they deserve a big thank you for being a fantastic team and for looking after me on the day.

After several recent visits to the physio therapy department, meetings with the doctor and today’s appointment for an MRI scan, I am totally impressed with the knowledge,professionalism and caring sensitivity of all staff in all departments, including reception staff, at all times.
