23 weeks pregnant with a suspected UTI first went in on 26th April 2023 told me to return next day with urine sample i did that. Told me then i had to wait 3 days and that they couldn’t book me in with an app that day as had no appointments. Leaving me to go to leigh walk in centre then sent to wigan hospital - outrageous. So I have called back today 7 days after original phone call and they have told me to call back in 2 days even though they have the sample back but Dr has not yet commented and is off tomorrow. Outrageous an untreated UTI during pregnancy can lead to serious complications there has been no urgency or reassurance to me and no help. I will be changing drs as I would not want to being my baby here god forbid anything was wrong.

Both myself and the Gp attempted to contact you following your experience, but unfortunately were unable to speak to you at the time. I will look into the issues you have raised, and ensure that we learn as a Practice Team from your experience to ensure that a similar experience is avoided.
