    What a nightmare, quite possibly the worst doctors surgery I have ever experienced; after just 8 months I've finally had enough, whilst the reception staff are always very pleasant, polite, and appear to do their best to help the team behind the scenes just don't seem to support them, messages are left ignored, requests take months to process with excuse after excuse, everyone else is to blame. An incredible 4 months to get a one page form completed which in the end had been done incorrectly! Actions requested by the dvla and dwp take months, and even then only after many repeated requests. I'm done with this practice and moving to a different surgery.

    How on earth you can keep telling my elderly parents in their 80’s that they can’t make telephone appointments or call into the surgery but must use an app is absolutely disgraceful in any circumstance! They do not posses smart phones and don’t even have a tablet or computer, let alone have ever been on a website in their lives. They are constantly stressed about having to ask me to make appointments as well as the stress of being told that they have to go online. Look at your patient demographic Donneybrook Surgery and sort yourself out. Quality and individualised patient care is at the centre of patient care in the NHS, and I’m sure I could provide you with quite a few CQC quality standards.

Quality and individualised patient care is at the centre of patient care in the NHS, and I’m sure I could provide you with quite a few CQC quality standards as a senior nurse in NHS corporate nursing.

    On behalf of the surgery, I'm very sorry to read that your parents have experienced difficulties in booking a GP appointment. Whilst the surgery does operate an online appointment booking system we also fully understand and appreciate that not all patients have online access and staff will always assist any patient in this position in completing the booking request form, be this via the telephone or in person. If you would like me to look into this matter further then please contact me directly by email on tracy.weatherley@nhs.net to discuss this matter further or telephone the surgery requesting myself and I will do my best to assist in ironing out any issues your parents are experiencing and document them on your parents records.
