I phoned up to make an appt for my 2.5 month old baby as she had a lump on her arm. The receptionist whose name I am not mentioning booked me in for a telephone consultation instead which I was not happy about, I also sent pictures via the link they sent me The dr rang me a few hours later and I told him the problem over the phone. He then said baby needs a course of antibiotics without actually seeing her in person. My daughter finished the course but the lump was getting bigger and I was concerned so I took her ugent care centre on the weekend where they confirmed it was a reaction to tje bcg jab she had. They said its infected noe as we left it so long and didn't get the treatment we needed. The dr at ucc injected the lump which was full of fluid and blood, took all the blood out and bandaged it. If the dr had actually had the decency to see my daughter face to face the lump would have not got infected. The drs at ucc were surprised aswell as to why the neglected a 2.5 month old baby and did not give her face to face appointment.

I requested my Gp to refer me to midwife, as i conceived with PCOS, and i was conscious about my Pregnancy and loss... But she did'nt and advised for Self-referral, for the self referral, i waited for 1.5 months for the 1st appointment. As a result, i ended to miscarriage. If in the initial stage, blood tests could done, so may be they able to see the problems, and they could provide any medicine to overcome any loss... But they did'nt, Now after the loss, m mentally depressed, and losing my health. Why they ignored me? In 2022, they did'nt give proper treatment to me, i had no periods for three months, but it was normal for them... Blood tests done, but no satisfactory treatment given to me, and for the Scan, very late referral given...

Thank you for your feedback. I am sorry to see that you had a negative experience at the practice. Referral to the midwife is via self-referral but I appreciate you have underlying health concerns would be more than happy to look into your specific case if you contact the Practice and ask to speak to the Practice Manager.
