The receptionist are not caring about patients feelings, it is hard to get the appointment on phone, I have A repeat BP, this morning came in with high BP, they could not help me, after explaining it been two days with high headache

I had an accident at home sat night and suffered a severe blow to the head which caused dizzines. My wife called Crumpsal hospital who sent a taxi to bring me in at 3am sat morn. Had to wait in A&E for 5hrs before seeing a doctor who was most helpful and arranged ECG which was OK but said I had high blood pressure and should see my G.P. on monday. Phoned Valentine Medical centre 9:10 am mon morn. and was told No appointments available and I should phone the following day at 8:45 and never asked what the problem was and could not make appointment for following day. I have had text to attend for a heath check but unable to get through without wating ages. Reception staff not very helpful

I’d like to extend thanks to all the staff at this practice. I can always get an appointment. The reception staff go out of their way to help. Recently I have seen two doctors and they have both been so understanding and caring. They review their treatment. They listen. A very good service.

All staff are help full and the Doctors listen to you and do not rush you .Always able to get a appointment and doctors now text you your x ray results ( 8.20 am ) Thank you all for your care.

Receptionist are very rude, unhelpful and not friendly. Ringing in the morning asking to speak to a doctor yet the first answer was no appointment left. As a receptionist shouldn’t you ask the patient what is their urgency in seeing a doctor? Rather than directing them to use the walk-in services e.g. City Health? NHS need to investigate these issues!
