I have been registered here for over eight years. On each occasion, reception staff are friendly and helpful, either over the phone or face-to-face. The nursing team are brilliant and do all they can to work the appointment around you. Drs have a good bedside manner and are genuinely interested in your care and health requirements. The new paramedic practitioner will offer you a thorough assessment and good safety advice for you to follow. Well done to all who work her and thank you for an excellent health care experience.

Having visited a Doctor at Blackford House over another matter and my complaining about worsening pain in my upper right arm/ shoulder from an old injury she advised me the practice had a Musco Skeletal Physio I could see. I booked in at Reception, was seen the wk after by the physio who spent time listening to my many 'years old ' injuries, she assessed me very thoroughly & gave me some excellent advice and exercise sheets to do. Another invaluable member of the Blackford House Medical Team. This Surgery is in my opinion nothing short of outstanding. Thank you again to you all

I had occasion to visit the practice again 2 /3 wks ago and this time was referred by the Doctor for some blood tests and a pelvis scan. I saw a Nurse I had not seen before for my blood tests, whom I think is fairly new to the practice. What a lovely warm, friendly and very reassuring person she was, who took the time to engage with me confidently too, a credit again to the staff that work at this Doctor's Practice I have today been for all of my results which thankfully are all clear, so thank you again to you all.

My Son and I have been patients at Blackford House Medical Centre for over 20 years now and have always had the very best of care and service from everyone who has ever worked here. I simply cannot fault anything at this surgery, and even throughout the Pandemic felt they were there if I ever needed them ! The Receptionists have a very demanding & stressful job, yet my experience of ringing or visiting for anything has always been a very warm and pleasant one and no matter which Doctor my Son and I have ever seen we have been very satisfied with the appointment. Listening to some of the ' horror stories ' from friends and colleagues about their own GP's practice I wouldn't want to be at any other Doctor's Surgery. Thank you to everyone involved there, it is very much appreciated.

We are so lucky to have this Health Centre available to us. My family and I have used this practice for 20 years, never had a bad experience! In my opinion the doctors and staff really care about their patients. Thank you.

Went to practise in November had to do urine sample gave sample to receptionist and rang the surgery 2weeks later they said they had never had the sample yet I handed it to receptionist who put it in a box what is the use if they don’t follow up you could end up very ill .

How can I say thank you for saving my life? Mere words but the swift actions of your staff who came to my aid when I collapsed with a massive heart attack in your reception area did save my life. All the team at Blackford House Medical Centre are dedicated to ensuring our wellbeing and I should know , having been a patient since 1968. A massive thank you and long May you continue giving a great service to our community.

Can never get through to the surgery. I received a text message to contact the surgery due to my scan results and it says they are closed, at 2pm. I am in the process of changing my GP. I think Blackford house lacks patient care and the receptionists speaks loudly about my diagnosis with patients in the waiting room. Not very professional or confidential. Wanted me to speak up as replied 'what' multiple times.

I would like to commend our surgery for its appointment procedures. At a time when so many other practices are limiting their face to face consultations our surgery has made it its mission to be as accessible as possible. I have rung up at 8am and been held in a queue for a short time, but upon speaking to a receptionist I have been offered a face to face consultation for 9am the same day. The same applies if you would prefer a telephone consultation.

A huge thank you to all at Blackford House Medical Centre for all you do for our community. In the most difficult of times, you have continued to support us and be there for us. Within my own family, you have seen us for a wide range of issues. The doctors are the best in the business. The nurses are amazing. The reception staff are so helpful and friendly and have sorted out appointments and various paperwork. I feel so lucky to have you as my doctors surgery and would like you to know how appreciated you all are. Also, thank you to the cleaners who have the surgery immaculately clean every day. Once again, a big THANK YOU!!!
