    Absolutely disappointed of the services! Been with them for a while. Difficult to get appointments even if you start ringing at 8.00. For almost a week! Online appointment do not work as well. Keeps directing you to ring them which is not even accessible before 10! Difficult pregnancy and needed anti emetic for weeks however, could not get the appointment. I am a doctor myself! Please go somewhere else.

    Thank you for the message. I am sorry to read that you felt that your query was not dealt with effectively. We have a number of appointments available and urgent on the day appointments are available from 7.45AM which can be booked via the NHS App. As well as the appointments with GPs and pharmacists we have access to enhanced access from 4pm to 8pm Monday to Friday, and also on weekends 9am to 5pm. There is more information here: https://www.theuplandsmp.nhs.uk/health-information/appointments/ I am not aware of any technical issues with online appointments. I am extremely concerned about your message as you will know that in pregnancy and vomiting there is a risk of dehydration and if the vomiting persists then we would be looking to arrange a same day assessment at the local hospital in some cases, depending on if there are signs of dehydration.     Massive improvements over last few months. Phone answered quickly. Staff polite. Dr was efficient and on time Can’t ask for more !!

    Rang this practice to make a future appointment on a Monday. Finally got through after about half an hour for the woman on the phone to tell me to ring back the next day at 8am to get an appointment. I start work at 7:30am working for the NHS myself so how am I supposed to ring at 8am it was not even for an emergency appointment. So I physically went in to the practice on the Thursday when I arrived at 2pm the woman told me they couldn’t attend to me until 3:30pm. When I returned at 3:30pm I was told that she cannot make future appointments today and to ring back on Monday.

    Two weeks ago I requested the local pharmacy to reorder prescriptions for myself and my husband.Despite having chased this 3 times with the pharmacy,who assured me that they had sent this request through three times we have still not received the medication.The pharmacist actually rang the surgery today on our behalf and I fully expected a positive outcome.I was disappointed.We are still waiting .This is not acceptable.

    Rang yesterday morning at 8.30am, waited 50mins to be told no appointments, ring back tomorrow 8am. Rang today 8am and tried to get two appointments one for my husband who had chest pain. I got one but he didn't! After asking if he needed to collapse with a heart attack before being seen, the receptionist agreed to triage him. Just not good enough.

    Thank you so much for your help and care of a family member who passed away recently. We are most grateful for your prompt, caring and efficient care - reception team, admin staff, nurses and GPs were all wonderful - and especially over the last few weeks. You are a real credit to the NHS.

    On multiple occasions I’ve visit this GP with conditions I’ve had for years and they’ve gone above and beyond making sure I’ve got a diagnosis and treatment. Most recently, I’ve always had extremely painful period cramps and for the first time I’ve been taken seriously and I’m getting tests done to get to the root cause. When I expressed pills don’t work for me I weren’t encouraged to still try a different one like in the past.

    3 weeks after a urgent scan and cannot still be told what is going on, did finslly see a GP last week who said would chase up the report, a week later still nothing, only to find out today that this report arrived whst new computer system being done, but but attached to my records, and yes, guess what no appointments to book, told to ring at 8am for an appointment , this is when im doing school run so not possible, told by receptionist thats the only way, not her fault as she was very polite, only way to resolve this is to find another GP practice.

    Dear Diane, I am really sorry to hear of your negative exeprience again. The computer system migration has had an impact on our day to day working, although it went smoothly there was an impact on documents coming into the surgery slower than usual and these could not be attached to your records up until as recent as yesterday (Thursday). For this we are truely sorry but it was part of the migration and out of our control. We have implemented a few changes to our appointment system this week that take effect from next week, we have a certain amount of next day telephone calls that we have allocated to GP's to try and help deal with the '8'o'clock' demand. I do hope you have managed to book a call with the GP and if not please contact me to see what we can arrange for you. Thank you again for your kind words about the reception team.
