    Experienced rude receptionist/ telephony staff, who didn’t deliver on what they said. After several calls and a visit conflicting information consistently provided when requesting a prescription. Defensive when simply challenged or questioned appropriately. The surgery has a poor escalation route, as no notes were taken and an opinion is provided before investigating first.

    I haven't had the best experiences with GPs recently but I have to write a positive review from this visit. The doctor gave me his opinion but then asked for a second opinion which I really appreciated and felt he could tell what I was trying to say. Very friendly and profession- it is not often I feel that I have been listened to after speaking to a GP but I really do this time so thank you.

    Recently registered with this practice after moving into the area. On registering I was offered a smear test (which was overdue from my previous GP practice). Although unable to name specific people in these reviews, the nurse who did it was absolutely lovely. She went through the procedure, put me at ease, went through what to expect next, and she was just genuinely a really nice person who is obviously good at both her job and her people skills. If my future experiences are as good as this I will be very happy.

    Trying to get an appointment for a Coil removed and a new one inserted. You cannot get a straight answer from the reception, keep being told the wait is 3 months, today they told me they only hold the clinic every 2/3 weeks, they never said that 3 months ago. I even got told I could call the sexual health clinic in Bury as there waiting times would be better, only to be told this isn't the case. At least they told me 6 to 8 month, where as Fairfax Group just keep saying your on the list

    This GP practice has been nothing but perfect. They have been treating me, and my perants for years, even centries you could say and now hopefully soo the next generation of my family. I have nothing but the upmost respect for the care and patience and their treatment. It is a small GP practicr and they truely give it their all regardless. However, the goverment has underfunded it and so it is unfortunate that it is small. It would be amazing if this beautiful place would build bigger and have more staff to cater to thier high demand. If anything, they were the sole reason and inspiration for my path to work in the field of diagnostics and help the team (to give back in a way ♡) Thank you so much!! Note: as mentioned it is a small GP, and most of the lower ratings are mainly due to being fully booked as there is no room, however urgency is prioritised which is appreciated. I thank you reception and I thank you Drs

    Called up to request a repeat prescription, left it a week before going to the pharmacy and it hadn't even been actioned by a GP. Requested it to be actioned and that it would be ready the next day, but the exact same thing happened again. Wasted over an hour of my time trying to get this prescription and I'm still no closer. The practice needs to take a long, hard look at their internal processes.

    The surgery has asked me to phone in at 8am to book an urgent telephone GP consultation for my Dad, who is 96. I phone on the precise dot of 8 am and am told you are so busy I need to book a call back when I am number 1 in the queue. How on earth do so many other people get ahead? The system is hopeless and my poor Dad would never manage it himself. How do other elderly people cope without someone to do this for them? My question is serious.

    Takes over an hour to get threw. Then when you get to the surgery your waiting over an hour after your appointment because there running that behind. When you get into the doctors you are rushed and litterally in there less than 5mins.

    It is impossible to get an appointment. Even if you get through the archaic appointment system, you will be told the practice only takes appointments for medical emergencies, children and the elderly. I was told to go to an urgent care centre (Manchester Royal Infirmary) for what should be a routine appointment.

    Can't get an appointment. I just spent forty five minutes repeatedly dialling in to get an engaged tone each time and have now given up. This happens every time. The appointment system is ludicrous, can only book on the day from 8am to then be told there are none left by the time somebody answers and told to try again the next day. This does not work if you have a job, but they refuse to even contemplate this. I haven't managed to get an appointment in over 5 years so wait and see if things get bad enough and if so end up using the out of hours gp service elsewhere or go to hospital. Completely pointless gp surgery. They find the time to send text messages for vaccinations though. Their one good point is that they usually find time for children.
