  1. Review titled A caring practice

Rated 5 stars out of 5

by Susan Masters - Posted on 18 January 2024

I recently attended an appointment with a GP. She listened to everything I said, was caring and considerate and we discussed my options together. I came with one query and went away with advice and treatment for several related matters. I came away feeling reassured and confident in the outcome. I think this practice is excellent and always cares. Thankyou!

  2. Review titled Unproffessional

Rated 2 stars out of 5

The receptionist nag and ask why you need an appointment they they decide if they will forward you? This is frustrating when I have a right to medical confidentiality. Also one receptionist has a bad attitude stating 'not my problem' when I asked were will sign my newborn if the gp won't. Very rude and unhelpful after I waited in a 45 minute telephone queue.

Dear patient, I am sorry to hear about your frustrations. The reception team do ask for some information to allow them to direct you to the right clinician in the appropriate timeframe. I will pass your feedback to the reception team and if you wish to discuss further, please feel free to ring the practice.

It took me 4wk for an appointment. Followed by 4 day wait for bloods. Rang back for results and new appointment Told by reception that results back and need follow up, by telephone .ok Further 2 wk for a phone call. Asked why so long for a call. She said it’s none urgent. I asked how would she know that is she a doctor. No Do these receptionist see your results are they qualified to give their opinion on results No Sort your staff out.

  4. Review titled Absolutely Brilliant Service

Rated 5 stars out of 5

I've had 2 chest infections within a few months. On both occasions phoned surgery and given face to face appointments within a couple of hours. Very thorough examination and diagnosis and an appointment made for a chest X-ray. Medication prescribed that worked wonders. Very friendly, professional service. Thankyou so much, I consider myself fortunate to be registered with you.
