I telephoned on behalf of my sister who has significant mental health issues. She had been without prescribed medication for 9days and had told me that she had been informed by Gp surgery she wasn’t due her prescription until 16th April. I was very stressed about the potential of further relapse and the pressure this places on our family. I was calling to complain and resolve issue. I spoke with a receptionist who was extremely helpful and offered to contact the pharmacy to find out what had happened. She gave me information about what had gone wrong and resolved the issue, arranging for my sister to collect the missing prescription the same day. She said she would ensure that this did not happen re the next prescription due. Well done and many thanks to the receptionist I spoke to.

Been with the practice for over 20 years. Yesterday my wife had an episode that needed Swift investigation. Went straight to the practice. Excellent receptionist listen to us and immediately went to discuss the situation with her experience GP. Five minutes later we were in that GPs office. Within 10 minutes contact have been made with a TIA clinic at Blackburn Saw an excellent consultant. Appropriate medication was instantly available. There was also an instant Doppler scan. An MRI scan will take place in two days. I wife and I have written glowing reports for this practice over the last 20 years. It continues to practice highest standards. Thank you so much.

Absolutely stellar service from this GP practice. I've always been treated with kindness, compassion and a friendly smile from all the doctors and nurses who I've seen. They've answered any questions I've had and I've felt in control of my healthcare choices. Reception staff have always been very helpful and efficient in their responses both over the phone and via email. Recently having just had a newborn baby the GP prompted me to register her via text which was straightforward following the link. As they've needed some treatment early on the practice has been so quick to get back to us and get the help we've needed. I'm ever so grateful that we joined this practice when we moved to Rossendale and have recommended to all our friends and family.

I called the practice after visiting the walk in centre. The receptionist arranged for me to see a Dr immediately. It was very reassuring to have anything urgent ruled out and good advice given to treat my condition. An appointment within 10-15 minutes is as good as it gets!

Trying to establish a shared care agreement. No communication from them about decisions they have made. Constantly chasing things up. Having to send documents multiple times because they've gone missing. Being in the dark without my medication is extremely frustrating. I'm sure individually they care, but their systems prevent it.
